2019/20 UConn Recruiting

UConn has lost AEH to transfer and will lose KLS, PHeesa and Z leaving four slots open. With no 2019 recruits in the fold, I wonder what she means by her statement. :confused:

UCONN could have as many as 7 scholarships available for HS class of 2019 depending on what Camara does. Either UCONN politely & gently walked away from Zia or Zia knows of some recruits in the 2019 class that are already secretly committed to coming to UCONN.

Even if Zia sees herself a SG vs PG, in 2019 UCONN will have 4 Guards TOTAL on the roster ( Williams, Dangerfield, Bent, and Coombs) Two of which are seniors. Not exactly "full" unless...

I generally don't speculate but I think your supposition that perhaps she knows of one or 2 that may have already committed may be the case.

BTW, Zia Cooke was interviewed after a game the other day and said she's cut her list to 7-10 schools. She didn't want to name them but she did list some of the schools she's visited:

Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Louisville, South Carolina.

Van Lith sounds like a Uconn kid, from her personal goals of playing in the WNBA, and being a 1st round draft pick, to wanting to win a bunch of championships. I wonder if she would verbal if she makes it to campus. She has a high ranking being from the state of Washington, I think Angie Bjorklund was the last player from the state of Washington ranked in the top 5.

I tend to doubt she has any inside info (wish she did).......... more likely she was just making excuses (understandably) for not getting a UConn offer.....................

Yo Milford,While you're there talk to her principal about graduating her in June and then get Ms.Azzi to sign a commitment to Uconn.I guarantee she would be a terrific player in college for Uconn even at that age .She's a once in every decade or two player.This is just a couple of minor things that we ask of you while you are right there anyway.:)

Was going to comment on that-Hailey's new build. Huge difference between last year and this year in upper and lower body definition.

How great would it be if we landed Hailey and baby Bruney? Would it get better than that?
