He was discussed as an incoming recruit for 2017 during the Signing Day press conference. Scout is off.

Guessing Scout has it wrong again as his Twitter profile still says "UConn Football Commit 21'". I think he reclassified 2017 if I remember correctly.

scout is always off when it comes to UConn football... when we got serious about FBS level football and this board was pretty much on that site, they never took us seriously... They'll never get another dime from me until they get a competent person to address us accordingly....

His twitter account is rather interesting.

In August we will have five D1 QBs on the roster, three of are arguably the best looking kids we have brought here since Lorenzen, Frazier and Orlovsky. And we are talking three, not 1 kid, but 3!

I'll welcome anyone with his pure athletic ability, but is he ready to play something other than QB? He has a skinny frame, so I'm thinking WR or some sort of non blocking TE.

This is puzzling. He also played some d-back in high school. Will want some official confirmation through local media. This tweet totally flies in the face of a conversation I had with his Dad ( but it was 2 months ago, so maybe there's been a change of heart)

Could very well have just been visiting buddies/invited to swing by and is just checking things out... the date makes me leery to draw any other conclusions.

CCSU football started practice this week and had one today so that "rumored" landing spot seems unlikely.

If he's not on the CCSU roster right now you gotta believe he'll be back in Storrs... There's no reason for him not taking part in their Spring practice right now...

If he's enrolled at Tunxis C.C. for the spring semester, he can't participate in UConn spring practice.

Maybe. However our current roster of LBs is a mystery of players who haven't seen much of the field...so we might need a third if what we have isn't up to par.

So I guess I can stop wondering why we are offering guys with so many major offers.

Dillon is a huge get. I'm not worried about him getting a better offer and jumping ship. He already has the offers.

This let's other recruits know it's ok to come to UConn despite what offers they have.

I think something special is happening here.
