As of midnight today. Not sure if there will be a last minute deal but certainly something to monitor.

There will be no deal- this an intentional strategy by Disney to try to gain a piece of the market share. They obviously have a valuable commodity during this time of the year with College Football, NFL, NBA, & College Basketball.

Disney lost all those direct subscribers during the Kimmel ordeal so now they are going strongarm tactics. Is YTTV going to prorate me for the drop in service?
Read that they may provide a $20 discount

Yup - those channels are gone. Time to start looking for an alternative.
Any one know how many Huskies games were on ESPN & ABC?

Makes sense. Yttv is a competitor that has more market share why give them your product to compete with you

So those folks who switched to yttv to get nfl Sunday ticket now dont have access to espn Ouch

Because it has reach and without those people your advertising dollars go down. There will be a deal eventually, both sides need a deal.

YTTV has some disadvantages. They don't own any content aside from YT, they don't sell Internet or phone like the cable companies, to subsidize the cost of carriage fees. Disney is probably trying to gain a bit of share as it integrates Hulu and Disney+ apps fully, but neither can let this situation persist for long.

Thousands of channels and the networks-executives can't figure this out it's just mind boggling.

I had to check mine after reading this. Mine is $88 for some reason.
I just looked at the Hulu site. The difference is I don't have premium. Premium has no ads for Hulu movies or TV shows. Since I don't watch movies or hardly watch any TV shows, premium would not make sense for me.

I started with Hulu bundle 3 years ago at $65/month. Now it’s $101
I guess you get charged tax? It says $89.99 online. I know with YTTV I never got charged tax so expect the same with Hulu. I guess that depends on the state you live in.

Pro tip, just get Hulu Live TV bundle. It's cheaper than YTTV and it comes with Disney+ and ESPN+. Hulu is owned by the Mouse so it will never lose ESPN
At one point they were shopping ESPN, but it looks like they are back to a vertical integration strategy

Agree but Depends on what % of Yttv folks leave for Hulu. If it’s a small % Disney loses. If it’s a big % they win

I switched from Yttv to Hulu a while back just because Hulu had SNY. This is a nonfactor now that SNY no longer covers UConn women. For my needs there are no real differences between the two. Although I find the ESPN plus content incorporated in the main menu on hulu convenient.

they pulled this move with DirectTV stream a year or so ago, Disney held them hostage, pulled their networks off the service for a month. DirectTV gave subscribers a $20 credit. I used the credit to add Fubo TV for a month (with a promotion), got my ESPN back (was cheaper than ESPN+, didnt want to give those a**holes my $$). As soon as Disney and DirectTV worked it out, the monthly rate immediately went up by $10 a month. I'll add that I have a sick grandfathered package, still getting everything (every sports and RSN in Fairfield County), plus another 300 channels, for under $120 a month. Hard to switch and find that with another provider
