When was the last time you smiled? So he didn't win a national championship?

This is what I've been talking about. But most teams don't have anybody like that and still score.
Whaley blocked their shots and forced pass-outs repeatedly. And, Whaley does not have the ability to match up. Whaley was giving up 4" and 5" and 40 lbs to the Cinci bigs.
So he didn't win a national championship?
Something I've been asking for, Polley for pick and pop, and Akok can either pop or roll to the hoop. I'd also like to see more big to big screens on the baseline, which would give Gilbert someone to feed. The only way to make that work is to use Akok or Polley as the screener, so that AG can just kick it back to them for a 3, or they could then quickly send it to a shooter in the corners.
Is he capable of kicking out?Completely agree here. But AG over penetrates and needs to look to kick out more. Yes the 2 guys parked in the corner drives me nuts.
And he needed to get Bouknight in the game much earlier than the 12 minute mark. That can’t happen again with the lack of scoring talent on this team.He needs to call a timeout in the first couple min and reset his club. Why does he wait til the under 16?
This is a scary friggin thought.I keep reading "Low Basketball IQ" on this board, but no one defines what that means. Carlton catching the first pass of the offense 25 feet from the basket doesn't mean Carlton has a low basketball IQ, it means he is running a stupid offensive set. Either Hurley has totally lost control of his players and these insane, contested pull-up 3's are happening without his approval, or Hurley thinks these super-low percentage shots are helping our team win. Either Hurley had a response for Cincinnati's overly aggressive, deny defense and the players were refusing to run it, or he went an entire game without making a single adjustment to a defense that was shutting UConn down.
+1000All boneyarders know in the back of their minds that the Tulsa game is going to be brutallll.

I saw him tanked at Grants late one Saturday night before a Sunday noon game.
Coaching hungover must be hard.
piker.lol.Joe Namath beat the Oakland raiders in the afl championship game after 3 girls a bottle of Johnny black and 45 minutes of sleep. And that’s ON the field. What’s your point again?
That is a good one.
Remember when Ollie won a National Championship? I do.
That was considered a boring night staying in for basically every night of Marvin "Bad News" Barnes career.Joe Namath beat the Oakland raiders in the afl championship game after 3 girls a bottle of Johnny black and 45 minutes of sleep. And that’s ON the field. What’s your point again?
You mean that season when we had the best player in the country and couldn't beat a dreadful Houston team on the road? Yeah I remember, I remember all of the detail, you just remember the highlights.
So winning a National Championship doesn't count because of a loss to Houston. Got it.
The point i'm trying to make is it is way too early to jump ship, otherwise known as pulling a Nelson.
I have no solution for this
George Mason was def one of the toughest losses I can remember. With the talent on the 2006 squad and losing in the elite 8 in the 1 vs. 11 matchup, that steamer has to be on the short list.

Nelson only sees things in absolutes.
And yet you proclaimed it the worst you ever saw. I would assume the worst ever coaching performance would have at least of couple of obvious fixes.
