Royce White = Lonny Baxter light
I keep hearing he is this complete nightmare, but he averaged 13 points. Thats ok, but not what you would expect based on how people describe him.
Ok so hea a nice player. I'm not saying he is isnt buy people have been describing Lebum James not a guy who average 13 pts in the crappy big 12.The guy averages almost as many assists as Bazz from the forward position.

Crappy Big 12? Did you watch basketball other than UConn games this year?
The Big 12 is easily on par with the Big East and you could easily make an argument that they a better league this year. Off the top of my head i know Kansas beat Gtown, Missouri destroyed ND, Baylor beat WV, Iowa St beat Providence...
There probably are some BE wins in there too..im pretty sure WV beat K state.
But point being that the Big East isn't as far superior to the Big 12 as your suggesting.
Defensively Those teams aren't very strong. I meant on defense. Average 13 ppg isn't nearly as impressive as you'd expect based on the description people are giving the guy. "6 8 270. Blows past guards. Great vision. Sounds like an NBA all starOh I agree, but those are the games that were played.
But gun to your head with the match ups that you suggested who do you got? IMO the top 3 in the Big 12 are better than Marquette, ND, Gtown.
I think the Big East is deeper, especially in the middle, but the Big 12 has 3 really good to great teams.
There is a reason that the most of the country hates the Big East...we constantly think we are the best. Most years we are, but this year we aren't and there are some really good teams out there in other conferences.

47.8% is good even if you are not shooting threes. 18 and 17 against Kansas is not impressive to you? 6.5 assists for a big guy is impressive.

He seems like a very nice player. One that I would like to have on our team. But nothing, except some eccentricities in his game, scream unstoppable in the way ISU fans make him seem.Yes, I read your whole post. You said you were unimpressed. I interpreted that as you were not impressed with him period. (not just the last 10 games.) I am impressed with his game, even with the turnovers.

First, I gave a list of great games he had, and Kansas was one. But it was a while ago.
Also, he's a TO machine, especially as the season has wound down.
He's good. His game is different, and that makes him a challenge definitionally. But I'm only concerned if he gets our guys in foul trouble. Let him go off, just don't cheat off of the shooters.
47%, almost all on 3, is not impressive. Lamb shoots 60.4% on only 2s, Oriakhi shoots 50%, Drummond shoots 54%. Hell, Roscoe shoots 47.8% on 2s only (Napier and Boat shoot lower than White, though, on 2s alone).
