Baylor lost 2 in a row, to unranked teams. This is not the same as UConn losing to NC State and Texas at the time. Stanford lost to Colorado, Texas lost to K State, Va Tech lost to Florida State. IMHO what it should be (not what the "experts" say it will be):
  1. SC
  2. Iowa
  3. Colorado
  4. NC State
  5. USC
  6. UCLA
  7. K State
  8. UConn
  9. Stanford
  10. L'ville
  11. LSU
  12. Texas
  13. Florida State
  14. Va Tech
  15. Baylor
Anyway I'm sure everyone has a thought. Based my guesses on who the teams lost to, MOV, if they were ranked, etc. But I think UConn should be about 8, but maybe 9 if the put Stanford in front of us...

Not a prediction, this is what’s happened in the last week. I’m not showing wins, only losses. If no rank is noted, team is unranked

1. So Carolina
2. UCLA lost to #9 USC
3. Iowa
4. Baylor lost to Iowa State, lost to Kansas
5. Colorado
6. NC State
7. LSU lost to Auburn
8. Stanford lost to #5 Colorado
9. USC
10. Texas lost to #12 KState
11. VA Tech lost to #21 FSU
12. KState
13. UConn
14. Indiana lost to #3 Iowa
15. Louisville

Interestingly, on the men’s side, 9 teams in the top 15 lost, all to unranked teams:
#1, 2, 3, 5, 6,8,9,10,11. The UConn men, currently ranked #4, won both of their games this past week.

I’m going to say UConn 7.

Now let me put on my Red Tinted glasses. NC State a spot behind Colorado, who State beat by 18 on a neutral court already seems wrong.

Baylor lost twice in the past week to unranked Kansas & unranked Iowa St.

VA Tech just lost to #21 FL St today

#11 Va Tech lost to Florida St as well. It looks like UConn will be ranked about #5, behind USC & Colorado. UConn is on the way to the final four.

Iowa is not the second best team in NCAA, I'd put them at 10.
Maybe. not but they do have wins over Kansas St (and a loss), Va Tech, Indiana, and an Iowa St win that now looks a whole lot better.

I would personally put at least UCLA, CO and Nc St above them, but they also haven't lost since Nov. 16th.

I'll say they end up at #10
Not sure they can pass anybody but VT and Texas perhaps, unless Stanford really gets dumped and you know how they love Stanford, so I'd say #11 but the intermediate range objective is just to position for a #2 seed with a win over ND
