Westworld

Started rewatching with Ep 1 & 2 last night. Holy cow they dropped some big hints early on!

I've become resigned to the fact that I'll need to watch the entire season again. I'm at the episode before the finale, and I'm lost right now.

Hurry up and finish it already!

They already mapped out 5-6 seasons so I don't think we will have the issues with some other shows that die when they try to get extended. Planning ahead allows them to keep it tight.

Ha, doing the same... episode 3... did Arnold have a son? Because when "Bernard" has Dolores read Alice in Wonderland... that sure looks like the room that Dolores heads to for her chats with Arnold. Arnold coaching her to find her consciousness...

The way I understand it, Arnold did indeed have a son and it was likely Charlie. That's what makes Bernard's cornerstone because Ford always talks about narratives being "rooted in truth."

Just finished bingeing season one... popped in to put this here:

.-.
I have a question. Didn't they say there was only one accident in 30 years I think? We are led to believe that the accident was Arnold. But what about Logan? Would that not be considered an accident? Is he not dead?

Technically, neither of those were accidents.

So what the hell happened in this weeks episode? Gotta re watch it...

.-.
Yeah, no doubt

The shifts in the timeline make it very hard to follow.

The ending of S2/E1 with all the dead hosts must be in the future (distant?).

Seriously - one of the most complicated hours of television I've ever tried to watch. Through episode 3 in season 1 - will take me about a week to catch up.

.-.
we are seeing at least 3 timelines to open the season. Possibly 4.

Im pretty sure the opening scene this season with Bernard and Delores, was actually the real Arnold and Delores from the get go.

An easy (but not fool proof) way to know time shifts is Delores' clothes. Blue Dress always past.

The end was a huge leap forward in time?

are there any other visual cues you've noticed for figuring out where in the timeline we are? To be honest I'm having a lot of trouble following this show, I want to like it but keep getting lost.
