People should not be hung up on where a player was ranked coming out of high school. College is a different animal. That said Westbrook is a good player who will add a needed element to Uconns backcourt. I also do not see any reason, under the circumstances, that she should be denied immediate eligibility. But then again it's the NCAA that we are dealing with.

It's hard to argue with the old phrase that you can never have too much talent, but how many guards of this quality can you really use? Is she a pure 1/2 or can she play the 3. Next year, not much of a problem with CD, CW and EW, but the following year there is a logjam with CW, EW, NM and PB unless one of them can play some minutes at the 3.

There is no logjam.....All the players you name can play multiple positions. Plus, you can never have too much quality depth.

Evina fits better in Uconn offense. She need perfect spacing and team defense to be a top player. The old days of Lady Vols and Huskies drama is over. It's totally irrelevant today. These young players really do not care about the decades of old history. She became the best player on the team. huskies really received a gift from the basketball gods.

For the past year or two this board has been overrun with pithing and moaning about our lack of bench depth. Now we have to endure complaints about too much quality.

The NCAA made three (relatively) good decisions on transfers Read #2 New coach at school that’s not due player fault. This would also put pressure on Lady Vols to assist with immediate eligibly because lately schools who haven’t assisted with issues like Westbrook has been blasted by the media.

The situation in #2 is completely different than that of Westbrook.

Actually, I went over to Volnation and was surprised by the amount respect they showed Geno. They hate the program, and maybe Geno, but they definitely respect him.

Anyway Volnation is a way different board than the Summitt.
