Are you sure?BC does deliver at least some of the Chestnut Hill market.

I think that family in the back are the Parkers from Lowell...BCU can't even get the locals, 😅😂🤣 High schools around Boston probably have more people in the stands for their BBall games.
Good thing the cheerleaders showed up. Doubled the crowd watching the game.I think that family in the back are the Parkers from Lowell...BCU can't even get the locals, 😅😂🤣 High schools around Boston probably have more people in the stands for their BBall games.
I'm not so sure about that. There was an article about NE being a football hotbed with all the prep schools. And even if there aren't so many recruits, the Northeast has viewers. It's clear bcu has done squat for the ACC but it's a private school with no support. UConn as the biggest flagship brand in New England is an entirely different story.BCU being so bad in football actually hurts us in getting a P4 offer. The rest of the country views New England as a hockey hot bed. There are very few football recruits in New England, thus no reason to invite any team from New England
The prep schools are the a huge help in all sports. If we had a P2 affiliation we’d take a ton of those players. Not sure a P4 designation is what we’d always hoped. I’m kind of disheartened that our best lifeline is most likely a bid to a “power” conference with no power at all.I'm not so sure about that. THIS LEAGUE!ACC championship game: Duke vs UVA

Yeah P2 designation working wonders for Rutgers. lol The issue is New England and most of the North East just does not have that atmosphere that the South and Midwest has for college football. College football is a religion in the South. The prep schools are the a huge help in all sports. If we had a P2 affiliation we’d take a ton of those players. Particularly if Duke wins... if Duke wins there's a very real chance the ACC ends up with 0 teams in the field (even more so if BYU wins the Big XII)What has happened in the ACC will drive the CFP in the future to just take the top 12 ranked teams. Of course that would make it near to imposiible for G6 to make the CFP. There goes Mora’s dreams. Lol
You just know Sankey and Petitti have their speeches ready for when Duke wins and gets left out of the CFP. This is their you-know-what dream. They can now call it a de facto P2 out loud. What has happened in the ACC will drive the CFP in the future to just take the top 12 ranked teams. One thing that I've seen suggested that i don't believe voukd happen is no ACC schools and two G level schools.Particularly if Duke wins... if Duke wins there's a very real chance the ACC ends up with 0 teams in the field (even more so if BYU wins the Big XII)

And 70% of that blip is the Beanpot.![]()
I live in Boston as some other people here on the BoneYard. I can tell you and they can also tell you BC is a tiny blip, if that, on the attention of any Boston sports fan.

We aren’t Rutgers. We have a much better fan base. Not sure if you were around during our Big East football days, but it was fantastic. I’m in Florida and I am in a family of Florida and FSU fans. I’ve been to a lot of games. UConn would show out just fine in a P2. Our fans simply want to play football at a championship level. That’s what happens when you pile up natties in other sports. If we play big time football, we will have a big time fan experience. The Duke game showed you everything you need to know. Send a competitive team out to play a decent brand name competitor and the stadium is near full and the crowd is great. Give us a steady diet of that and we’ll be sold out all the time.

yeah I disagree. But it is a moot point anyway since UConn is not getting a P2 invite. Just like another 90 or so FBS schools. We aren’t Rutgers. We have a much better fan base. You don’t really need to disagree on everything. We had the Rent regularly sold out in the Big East. True story. It’s an opponent problem. You can’t take a school out of a power conference and expect their fans to love it.yeah I disagree. But it is a moot point anyway since UConn is not getting a P2 invite.
