Catawba College is a good D2 team, off to an 8-0 start this year, and UNCW is a really bad D1 team. I believe the top 50 teams in D2 are better than the bottom 50 in D1.

Catawba is about an hour drive away going north when leaving Charlotte and it's located in Salisbury, North Carolina. This game for UNC-W was a front end of a back to back. They will play UNC tomorrow.

I mentioned a few weeks ago that it would be a long season for the Seahawks...... but not in my wildest imagination did I think they would lose tonight

There is a preliminary game that starts at 1:30 PM between Michigan and Florida State. UConn vs. OK is scheduled for 4 PM (at the earliest or a half hour after the first game ends????)
Tickets are valid for both games.

Wake Forest big over Dayton.... 66-42 in the 4th quarter. The Deacs scored 37 in the 3rd... that has to be a Wake Forest record. That Jan 2 showdown in Durham..... might not be a cakewalk. Miami is cruising over Big South Power UNC-Asheville. The Bulldogs have come back and closed the gap. It was 45-9 at halftime.
 
Rice leads Va Tech after the 1q. 18-16 in Puerto Rico.

Wow, Dayton's even worse than I thought, and I already thought they sucked.
 
too many games on at the same time.... VPI..... the big NCA&T vs Clemson matchup... and the football bowl games kick off in a few minutes.

I have a relatively new TV and this is the first time I’ve used the built-in youtube app. It was easier to search than to find the URL entry.

I must be getting old, the UI for this Android TV Youtube app is mysterious to me in general.

Ha.... NC is a much smaller state... but we have 8 public school championship games.... all were held last Saturday. 2 at Wake Forest, 2 at NC State, 2 at Duke... and 2 at another school.

Ha well Texas now has 12 in all (way too many, but that's another story), but 6 of them have already been played in the past 3 days. The largest schools (4A, 5A and 6A) are playing today and tomorrow.
 
I dont wanna jinx them... but My Aggies are looking good so far.

Southern has cut the deficit to 1 at halftime.

The Jaguars of Baton Rouge are winless against D1 teams (they have 2 wins over non-D1 teams) but they've played a difficult schedule entirely on the road: games at Iowa State, Wichita State, Nebraska, Texas, Rutgers, Fordham and Florida State. This is their first non-true road game against a D1 team this season.

Dayton is the worst team I've watched this year. Doesn't seem as if they are improving either.
