5:00 left...NC State leads 66-31. Most of the starters are on the bench now for NC State.
 
Cardinals are about to take the lead!
 
Final: NC State improves to 11-0, beating Chattanooga, 74-38, the 36th consecutive non-conference home win for the Wolfpack Women. Chattanooga falls to 1-12.

NC State shot 40.8% from the floor, on 29-71 shooting, including 11 of 36 from THREE. The Wolfpack Women were 5 of 9 from the FT line. Chattanooga shot 29.4% from the field, on 15 of 51 shooting, including 7 of 25 from THREE. Chattanooga made 1 of 2 FT attempts.

All available players for NC State saw the floor tonight. Elissa Cunane led the team with 17 points, sitting out the last third of the game. Grace Hunter added 14 off the bench, Jada Boyd had 11...while Jakia Brown-Turner contributed 9. Ace Konig, Kai Crutchfield and Erika Cassell each had 6. Cunane had 7 rebounds, Kayla Jones, Cassell and Boyd each grabbed 6 boards.

For Chattanooga, Bria Dial was the leading scorer but did not score at all in the 2nd half; she finished with 12 points. Lakelyn Bouldin added 9 for the Lady Mocs.

NC State outrebounded Chattanooga, 50-31. The Wolfpack Women also tallied 22 assists on 29 made baskets.

NC State is now off until December 29th, when they will open ACC play on the road at the Conte Forum, facing Boston College.
 
I think UTM has still led the whole way. 40-38 thru 3 quarters. Louisville could still blow this wide open, but they certainly didn't explode after halftime.
 
Tennessee-Martin still leading Louisville, 40-36.

Upset in the making?
 
Louisville tied it for a moment but UTM back up. Doesn't look like they are going to fold. Only 4 minutes left 45-42.

49-49. UT Martin had a chance to win but very poo back door pass. Louisville with final possession to try to break the tie

Disastrous play for Louisville. Dunham missed a layup and then fouls on the rebound. UTM makes one FT (takes a 1-point lead) and then gets an O-board, and then Louisville commits an unnecessary foul on the perimeter.

Amazing how Walz not even trying to get Shook involved
 
Holy cow. UTM misses 2 FTs, then Jones scores on a layup. Then UTM travels and has to foul.

Jones makes 1 of 2 FTs. UTM collects the rebound on the 2nd and then gets fouled on a straight drive to the basket. Louisville defense was completely disorganized and just didn't stop ball.

UTM makes both FTs to tie the game. 5 seconds left.
 
Whoa, Jones has her layup blocked and it's out of bounds on her.

UTM calls timeout to advance ball. They have 1.5 seconds to win the game.

Taking 2 overtimes to beat UT Martin, Louisville is definitely not a top 6 team! They have struggled in all of their games except for the Oregon game
 
Louisville up 6 in the closing seconds. Too bad.
 
Louisville with 6 consecutive points on a layup by Shook, 15 foot jumper by Evans, and another 15 footer by Diop.

In the midst of that run, UTM missed 2 free throws and missed into the bottom of the rim a wide open layup on a backdoor cut.
 
UT-Martin just collapsed due to fatigue. 69-63 with seconds left Louisville

Lol idk how AP voters have Louisville ahead of Baylor? They have struggled in most of their games!
 
It's a shame UT-M wasn't able to pull it off. Now Louisville's struggles will probably go mostly unnoticed. No excuse for a top 10 team letting that game stay within 15 points, much less overtime.
 
Good test for the Cards. Jeff and his charges aced the test.

Baylor fans are no one to talk until Baylor at least plays a true road game. Shameful.
