Marquette looks really, really good right now, especially with Kolek back to his ultra-effective, ultra-cocky form again. Saturday is going to be a titanic test for both teams. And I already know I am going to be swearing at the screen at least once (probably more often) something like

"How $#! are we leaving that Good Damn Cocky White Boy open from 3 AGAIN!!!!"... right after he hits a 3 and is wagging his finger at our boisterous crowd.

And before you ask... yeah, I'm a white guy, too. Not that it should matter.

Butler, Xavier, St. Johns, Providence, Seton Hall and Villanova are working on the exact sequence of game outcomes that will make the 2023-2024 Big East the best conference in history to only get 3 bids to the NCAA tournament.
Not that the NCAA formula cares about Bracket Matrix, but all of the above are still getting some votes, with SJU barely hanging on for a play-in, Hall and Providence being consensus first four out and Nova still has a fan.

I expect some of that to change if Pitt manages to hold on at UVA. They're up 10 with 6:28 left. That would be 2 Q1 road wins in a row. UVA hasn't lost at home in since 2022.

One of those "spirit of the game" out of bounds calls off of Ingram

Virginia and Indiana State on the verge of blowing it after just being ranked this week.
Oof, that's a baaaaad loss for Indiana St. Illinois St. was 220 on KP.

Indiana St and UVA decided they didn't like to be ranked.
Pretty sure there have been Boneyard clowns who have argued that it doesn't matter, so maybe.;)

UNC might've had a chance if they didn't turn it over 3x in the final 2 minutes.

I can't remember the last time I've seen a team look this discombobulated down the stretch of a game. These are all self-inflicted. They can't even swing the ball around the perimeter without fumbling it out of bounds.

If UK loses 4 straight at home, it's going to be a bloodbath in Lexington.
