Edey had a great putback and made FTs to help win the game. Marquette had their chances but couldn't get it done. Tyler Kolak is fun to watch and will be handfull for UConn.

Bilas did have nice things to say about UConn's offense and Karaban in particular.

So much went right in that game for Purdue and so much went wrong in that game for Marquette. I still don't believe in Purdue, they'll end up getting a 1 seed because the Big 10 is garbage but they won't make the final 4.
I won’t believe in them until they make a run. Saw a tweet that said they’re 28-2 in their last 30 OOC games. The 2 losses are FDU and Saint Peter’s in the last two tournaments LMAO

Quin Slazinski is playing very well for WVU, feel Pitino could have used him for SJU and Pitino made a mistake recruiting over him. He's the one who was going to come to SJU from Iona but was recruited over and went to WVU.

Pitt looked competent for about 30 minutes, were deadlocked with Florida 43-all. Since then Florida has gone on a 23-8 run, helped by Pitt throwing up several of the worst shots I've seen from a P4 team in, well maybe forever. Pitt's starters are looking tired with 7-plus left in game. Doubt they even make it close at this point. Disappointing - I think they have the talent, but man, they look totally disorganized the past 5-7 minutes. Nobody's in charge.

Our old Iona friend Walter Clayton 6/8 from 3. Before there was Spencer, I thought he'd have been a good fit for us.

Novavax is one of the sponsors of the Myrtle Beach Invitational. I was watching one of the games and it looked like they were THE sponsor as the "Novavax" branding was prominently displayed all over the court.

Who picks these Maui teams? This is like a Final Four in April.

1st, 2nd, 4th & 7th ranked teams in the country knocking heads twice in the last 24 hrs.
And then there is Syracuse……the team that thinks they are back because they manhandled Chaminade.

So Pfizer has never sponsored a (insignificant) sporting event?

J e s u s was a sponsor of the Maui final. Apparently he took timeouts too and he gets us—according to the ad. I’m skeptical but it would definitely take omni-power to get some of the characters on this board.
Yeah I noticed that. That was in fact weird.

Sparty had a chance here, but not looking great with :26 to go

I’d be upset at Tyson Walker if I was a MSU fan. They were down 1 with around 3 minutes left and he just dribbled out the shot clock before passing it to Hoggard with 1 second left.

Of course he missed, Arizona got 2 points, and MSU never got closer than 3 after that

MSU could not hit anything other than layups in the final 5 minutes...UofA also bullied them during that time with no answer by MSU. Had MSU prevailed we would have been #2... Now I suspect #3 on Monday

David Jones (DePaul/St Johns transfer) just went nuts for 36 points. Memphis beats Arkansas and plays Villanova tomorrow. Winner probably gets ranked next week too

Last 30 seconds probably took 10 minutes. 4 consecutive plays went to official review. Almost fell asleep

Quinnerly versus Nova. Seems like he committed a lifetime ago.

Creighton got stomped

Nova won though
Kinda hard to believe Trey Alexander would go 1-16 (0-5 from 3). I don't know much about Colo St., but with the margin of this win, seems they must be legit.

Yep. Shooters can be streaky and we know Alexander will bounce back. If Timberlake, at Kansas, is in fact a good shooter, he will bounce back too. I hope it is not versus UConn.

Really stunning box scores in several games. In the Seton Hall game USC Joshua Morgan 6'11 225lbs, played 28 minutes and only shot 1-1 from the floor with a couple FTs for 4 points, only had 2 rebounds, both defensive, only 2 PFs against him, BUT had 10 Blocks!! How do you block so many shots and never get a rebound in extended minutes? Dixon 34pts, tons of lousy 3 point shooting by a ton of teams. Nova 32 of 36 from the line. Creighton only called for 7 team fouls in the whole game. Only 9 turnovers, but got killed with terrible shooting. Numerous teams with nothing at all from their benches. Really absurd stats in a bunch of games. Thank you Nova for a good win while Butler, Hall, and especially Creighton failed the conference.
