Another painful 1-pt for the Johnies and Pitino. Wow
Yea definitely an unnatural kickout but the SH defender not falling down probably saved himThat clutch 3 that Alexander made…that the textbook example of what the refs are supposed to call as an offensive foul. Clearly flailed his legs out towards the defender & flopped.
Instead, they called the one on Newton the other night for doing nothing.
Big East needs to clean house with their officiating crews.
I don’t care, but apparently that’s how the SH fans felt, by the sound of it.So getting 90 percent of the calls weren’t enough lol.
It's not too crazy, but otoh, if you've got Kadary's history and skill, you're probably thinking you're gonna make some of those layups. Is it too crazy to say that Kadary cost Seton Hall the game with the iso ball in OT? Has there been a less efficient triple double?

Kalkbrenner altered a lot his shots. Kalkbrenner was outstanding this game.Kadary 8-32, felt like half of them were right at the rim.
Kalkbrenner was great but most of those misses were Kalbrenner being in his head because they were basically clean layups he was shorting.Kalkbrenner altered a lot his shots. Kalkbrenner was outstanding this game.
100%, on the incompetency of these clowns. Somewhere along the line Driscoll's crew decided that the rules of the game ( blatant hand checking and none stop fouling) by the less talented team ( Seton Hall) is just fine & no longer matters. And refs manipulating the outcome is part of the rule book, SMH! The Big East needs need a sitdown with all of them (alot of Big East refs on the rule book inconsistency ) or a suspension until the get it into their thick heads that allowing a one team hack fast is not acceptable. Or trying to make up the foul count (another scheme BE refs pull) when it's clear as day that only one team is the aggressor. That was an exciting game to watch, but man. The refs in this league are so bad. Not to say that every game in the past was called perfectly, but one out of every three or so games is practically unwatchable. The drama in Creighton/Hall was fantastic, but the style of play allowed by the refs is frankly embarrassing. They're letting Seton Hall just clobber on Creighton all day long. That is not good basketball.
Don't agree at all, exhibit A is that once the NCAA's start they all step up and call the games right. Because even BE refs know they won't advance if they disregard the rule book. As we all know and saw last year .......as DH said, once again, recently. If you watch a lot of college basketball you'll see the refs all around kind of suck. Basketball is a very hard game to call and there just aren't that many people on the planet that are great at it. I really don't think it's just a Big East thing like we always harp on here. The best refs are in the NBA and every level below that is hit or miss.
Houston was prob relieved to see an AAC teamUCF managed to score 14 points in the first half Against Houston
Good for Diggins. I wish him luck. No ill will. He quickly realized he was in over his head at UConn and transferred out quickly and opened a spot for Hurley to fill with someone who could contribute more. While it's a game nobody cares about, it does feature a familiar name scoring a career high.
