Whoa! Ole Miss was kinda hanging around against Texas, now they are making a big push in Q4.

Never mind about Iowa State going undefeated lol.

I really did look at their schedule yesterday. And I didn’t see a lot of opportunities for them to lose.

So Loree Payne and her squad rebound from the tough LMU loss to defeat Gonzaga. This will be the only regular season meeting between the two squads. For the second consecutive game the Broncos were destroyed on the boards. However they did get a clutch bored off a missed free throw with four seconds left. their touch returned from three land and they held on to win 77-73.

Going undefeated is really hard to do, which is why it happens so rarely. Predicting in early January that a team is gonna run the table is pretty silly. UConn could do it this year, everybody else is gonna stumble at some point.

Texas hangs on 67-64. There's definitely a loss (or a few) waiting for them somewhere during the SEC slate.

How does Arkansas have 11 wins? Getting pummeled by Alabama 60-34.

For some reason it wasn't clear in my head if Neighbors is still the coach or not. He isn't. Now Kelsi Musick (who?). Her tenure is not off to a good start.
I also had no idea who she was prior to Arkansas but the cupboard was about as bare as it could possibly get for her to start with.

I kinda think it’s wild that Neighbors (who repeatedly said that his teams didn’t practice rebounding at all - in the SEC no less) finished with a career record over .600. Add that to the list of Kelsey Plum’s accolades.

It went under the radar here, but in the previous game Lisa Fortier of Gonzaga tied Kim Mulkey as the fastest to reach 300 wins (379 games). That surprised me quite a bit to hear. They've dominated the WCC, have been a solid and well respected program under her watch, but haven't made a big splash nationally.

The WCC appears to be wide open this year. 3 of the top 4 from last year look to be in the mix, but could be joined by Santa Clara and maybe some others.

Good win for Baylor. 17 combined for Littlepage-Buggs and Fontleroy is, in all seriousness, one of their better combo showings against ranked teams so far this year. L-B did have 20 boards though which is an excellent effort. I don’t think Baylor has ever really found consistency under Nicki Collen, but I don’t think she’s done a bad job following Mulkey, either.

Right place at the right time. His system fit his personnel well though. Also gotta give some credit to Chantel Osahor, Talia Walton and Jazmine Davis.

Oof, I thought DePaul might pick up a conference win today. Nope. Outscored 37-16 in the 2nd half by Providence and lost by 10.

Hmm...similar to when Neighbors left Washington. Although to be fair I think there were 4 players who had to retire medically, that was beyond anyone's control and was a major bummer.

And Nova is on a 10 game winning streak, which includes six road wins.
I lost track of this with so many games going on. Marquette broke away in Q3, up 16 heading into the final frame. Was close at the half.

I’m watching the LSU-Vanderbilt game midway thru first Q. Vanderbilt has ball and is attacking the basket. Mulkey is on the baseline halfway between corner and basket, coaching and exhorting LSU from there. Is she allowed to be that far on baseline while action is happening right in front of her? Ref was there but didn’t say/do anything.

With UCLA looking sharp against USC and SC struggling with FL, I'd move the Bruinettes ahead of the Gamecocks.

Meanwhile AP 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, and 15, 16, 17, 18 with losses.

Expect a huge gap between #4 and #5 in Monday's poll

Baylor with an upset. One less undefeated team now

Actually, it looks like the player benches are on the baselines- weird

Haven't they always been this way? With the teams seated on opposing baseline?
It's been awhile since I last watched a Vandy home game...

LSU-Vandy is a surprisingly disappointing game. I could be kind and call it a defensive struggle in the first half, but…

Oops...did we jinx Nova?
I stopped watching this game during the second quarter when it was still close.
Halle Vice of Marquette started off on fire, though.
