I’m watching the LSU-Vanderbilt game midway thru first Q. Vanderbilt has ball and is attacking the basket. Mulkey is on the baseline halfway between corner and basket, coaching and exhorting LSU from there. Is she allowed to be that far on baseline while action is happening right in front of her? Ref was there but didn’t say/do anything.

With UCLA looking sharp against USC and SC struggling with FL, I'd move the Bruinettes ahead of the Gamecocks.

Meanwhile AP 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, and 15, 16, 17, 18 with losses.

Expect a huge gap between #4 and #5 in Monday's poll

Baylor with an upset. One less undefeated team now

Actually, it looks like the player benches are on the baselines- weird

Haven't they always been this way? With the teams seated on opposing baseline?
It's been awhile since I last watched a Vandy home game...

LSU-Vandy is a surprisingly disappointing game. I could be kind and call it a defensive struggle in the first half, but…

I lost track of this with so many games going on. Marquette broke away in Q3, up 16 heading into the final frame. Was close at the half.
Oops...did we jinx Nova?
I stopped watching this game during the second quarter when it was still close.
Halle Vice of Marquette started off on fire, though.

I jinx almost every game I mention, but Marquette was ahead when I made note of it. So maybe my jinx didn't work for once. 85-69 final. The race for #2 in the BE remains open. Marquette and Seton Hall 1 game behind Nova, St. John's another 1/2 behind those 2.

Mulkey ready to go nuclear on her team.

There are fewer coaches these days that have the gravitas to DEMAND excellence from their teams. I appreciate watching it.

Blakes is a pretty sweet player on Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt probably doesn't have the horses for a very deep tourney run, but Blakes is a good "horse," even if today wasn't her most efficient day.

Up 6 with a minute to go, they let Blakes run it, but she takes a jump shot which leads to a long rebound and LSU is able to run down to a 3. Bad decision.

Ugh, bad inbound play by Vandy led to Blakes being out of bounds ... but the refs missed the call. Vandy then able to run a bunch of a clock before getting fouled.

Glad Vandy win, but ugly there at the end. First top 5 win since 2009. Great win for Shea.

Gonna be interesting to see who ends up at #5 tomorrow. #8 Okla? #11 Ky? #12 Vandy? #13 Lou?

It’s all about the draw these days.

Too much isolation play by LSU that led to too many turnovers. Flau'jae has been a no-show these past two games. Yikes...

Personally, the only surprise to me (other than your jinx not working) is that Marquette won by 16 points. Didn't see the game, but point differentials for the first and third quarters were surprising.
