Xavier did as well, beating Southern Illinois Edwardsville by 25.Gardner-Webb left the ranks of the winless teams, picked up a W against App. St.
As an addendum to this, Massey actually ranks Grand Valley State #3 in Division II and #173 across all divisions of college basketball, which would place it just above the 50th percentile among D-I teams. To be fair, Grand Valley State is one of the top teams in Division II, and therefore better than quite a few D-I teams.
Wow. 2 games against NAIA schools? I don't even know what NCCAA is, is that a juco? For example, the McNeese Cowgirls are listed as 4-7 but those 4 wins were against Dillard University (NAIA), North American University (NAIA), Ecclesia College (NCCAA), and Centenary College (D-III).
NCCAA = National Christian College Athletic Association. Has about 90 members.Wow. 2 games against NAIA schools? I don't even know what NCCAA is, is that a juco?
I learned something new today.NCCAA = National Christian College Athletic Association. Has about 90 members.

UConn is playing a non-Div 1 team on WednesdayNot major programs.
I don’t mind when below mid major teams do it. Sure, get a win, it’s fine. But no P5, especially a ranked one, should ever be scheduling out of D1.

Homecoming game in Toronto for Canadian senior Aaliyah Edwards but, yeah, not even an NCAA, NAIA, or U.S. JUCO team.Well, that's different.....![]()
Actually, it is different.Well, that's different.....![]()
I Believe Utah had a similar situation with Alissa Pili’s homecoming in Alaska.Actually, it is different.
UConn is playing a road game in Canada as a homecoming event to honor a Canadian player who is a senior this year. These homecoming games are a Geno Auriemma tradition. Safe to say he's not taking his team to Canada just to find an easy opponent. I'm sure he would've loved to schedule a D1 opponent in the Toronto area if one existed.
I doubt that Ohio State scheduled a home game vs. a D2 team for a similar reason.
Was supposed to be Pitt but new coach backed out. UConn tried to find another US team to play but couldn't find one.Actually, it is different.

Carly Clarke, TMU’s coach, was Aaliyah’s coach for the Canadian U23 team.I was just thinking that I bet Geno tried to get someone to travel there as Duquesne did for Kia's homecoming.
Well, god bless Lance White and shame on Tory Verdi. Yet another reason to root against them this year.
So the ACC lost their conference challenges to both the SoCon and Sun Belt today.
Game-winner by Wofford's Rachael Rose to beat Virginia:
Are you actually missing an opportunity to invoke your signature slogan for an in-state rivalry game? Where is the real Triad and what have you done with him?Not sue what to think of Georgia Tech. I thought UGA was a solid probable NCAA tourney squad.
