Illinois #24 at Nebraska #22 on Fox. Nebraska with 3 point lead at end of 1st quarter.

Nebraska QB is Dylan Raiola who people say looks like Mahomes. His Godfather is Matt Stafford. Stafford was teammate of Dylan's father who was the center on the Detroit Lions.
 
One interesting item that was mentioned during halftime of the Nebraska/Illinois game. Ohio State paid $20M in NIL to the 2024 football team this season. That information is from the AD Ross Bjork.
 
The Central Connecticut State football team plays its second FBS opponent of the season, travelling to UMass on Saturday, September 21st. The game, which can be watched on ESPN+, is set for a 3:30 pm kickoff.

The Blue Devils have won back-to-back games, for the first time since 2021, and are 2-1 on the season. UMass enters Saturday's game with an 0-3 mark. CCSU and UMass are meeting for the fourth time, with UMass holding a 3-0 series record. Each of the games has been at UMass. The Minutemen are the second FBS opponent of the year for the Blue Devils, who opened at Central Michigan.

I assume you are joking. Score is 21-0. ACC football is bad. Clemson got boat raced by Georgia and Clemson is now boat racing NC State. Only team with a real chance in CFP is Miami. You can see why P2 will probably forming their own football league similar to NFL- 40 teams.
 
We will see how Duke plays rest of the year. My guess is they will struggle to make a bowl.
 
ACC football is bad. Only the conference champion will be making the CFP. Right now probably Miami

Cheney should have been the hire for UConn for head Coach. He has a good understanding of offense. Instead UConn hires a retired coach and the OC is UConn’s OL coach. Perhaps UConn should watch James Madison game tape.
 
Rice is getting killed by Army. Makes me a little more worried about today's game. Army appears to be the real deal this year.

Chesney might be on a Dan Hurley coaching trajectory. Many of us wanted him hired 3 years ago, but it is very possible he would not be interested in the UConn job anyway. UNC fans probably want to hire him tomorrow.

I think you are right. UConn seems to like old head coaches ready for retirement. Appears to be their strategy over the last 14 years.
 
UNC getting pummeled. Every ACC team that was rumored to be a candidate for the Big 10 is having a rough start of the season.
