Temple v. Rutgers now (Temple winning)
(12) Indiana v. Xavier 6 pm
(16) Virginia v. (5) Baylor 7 pm
(25) UConn 830 pm
(8) UCLA v. (19) Illinois 930 pm

Amongst other games - Excellent slate of hoops!

Frank Martin has UMass playing HARD. Very high effort and very high intensity for the full 40 minutes. Got 11 more offensive rebounds than Murray state and shot 16 more shots. Overcame a double digit second half deficit and stole the game on a BEAUTIFUL game winner

Pretty crazy ending. Murray State had an unforced turnover with about 25 seconds left down 1, just threw the ball out of bounds. UMass got fouled and missed both. Murray State (maybe??) traveled but refs called a foul, made both with 7 seconds left to go up 1. Then UMass hit a crazy stepback fadeaway contested 3 to win it. On to the championship game!

Rahsool got good minutes but was mostly a spot up shooter. 6pts on 2-6 shooting (4 of the shots were threes)

Wow, Georgetown is getting absolutely run over in the 2nd half. 31-6, 11 mins in. Ouch.

Florida was in serious trouble but FSU has apparently forgotten how to play basketball in the second half

UCLA v. Illinois is a great game. Physical, high level play.

I think Underwood is really good. Teams always pass and D up.

Always like seeing UVA and Bennett win too. Great teacher. #5 lost and #8 on the ropes!

Quinnipiac now one of the four 5-0 teams in the nation (Saint Mary’s, Kent State and Virginia Tech the other three).

I previewed them earlier this year praising their guard depth but questioned their new frontcourt. Notre Dame transfer Elijah Taylor, a projected starter, is out with an ACL injury so Columbia transfer Ike Nweke and Kilgore (JuCo) transfer Paul Otieno have stepped up and led the frontcourt this season.

I’m catching them later this year when they play at Iona and when they play at Fairfield (I got press access to that one!)

Only picked up on UCLA/Baylor after the UConn game ended, but it's been a thriller so far

Houston plays Oregon later tonight. Will be good to see what we need to accomplish against Oregon on Thursday.

Kentucky is getting worked by Gonzaga right now by 14 with 3 and a half left in the first half

Still early but damn

Does anyone know when Kenpom takes last years data out of their rankings?

Every game it phases out a little. By some point in January it is gone completely.
Wish it would phase out sooner. I feel like a fool checking them after every game.

Michigan looks just ok. Didn't look like a typical number 20 team. Dickinson looks like a dodgeball player.

Oregon's floor looks terrible and confusing. Technicolor yawn. Can't believe it is allowed.

It's obnoxious to look at. Wonder if visiting teams shoot worse there.
I had to turn the game off. It's simply too distracting and annoying, I can't even follow what's happening.

I find it really strange the court is even allowed.

Yeah, reminds me of how in little league i couldnt wear a long white sleeve shirt (under uniform) as a Pitcher cause it might throw off the batter. The mess on the court makes me think of the same thing. Houston is rolling though.
