Kicking myself for not taking +10.5 when they were down 18. The algorithms knew Memphis would cave. It’s gonna happen
And mostly not called if you are UConnArizona was outplayed most of the game but came through in the end. I am not sure how Big East physical play will translate to in the NCAA, but fouls that were called in the PAC-12 game would be a nice love tap in the Big East. You have to get mauled in the Big East to get a foul called.
WhateverYou might end up as a person of interest in the hanging investigation lol
The charge/block call in college isn't unique to the Pac 12, it's been terrible across college ball for DECADESNah. This is the Pac style. The emphasis has always been on lower contact defense and skilled basketball. It’s why PC would foul the whole lineup out if these guys reffed their games. How does it play in the tournament? UCLA can probably play a more physical style than Arizona.
Is Moore not playing either? Is this a thing now? Electing not to play in the NIT?Whitmore is apparently sitting out the NIT for Villanova. Pretty unremarkable college career.
I assume it is the same as football players skipping bowl games when they plan to enter the draft. Fear of injury before your chance to make a major payday. It's hard to argue with them really. Nobody skips the football playoff now, or the NCAA tournament. But when it's a consolation prize game? Why risk it?Is Moore not playing either? Is this a thing now? Electing not to play in the NIT?

I suppose considering they were both injured, especially Moore, you can't blame them. Sucks for the rest of the team though.I assume it is the same as football players skipping bowl games when they plan to enter the draft. Fear of injury before your chance to make a major payday. Especially when both were injured earlier this year. Nothing to gain for them.I assume it is the same as football players skipping bowl games when they plan to enter the draft. When was this?Didnt we (Calhoun) elect not to play in NIT?
And Vanderbilt's Myles Stute hit the portal the day before playing Yale in the NIT.Whitmore is apparently sitting out the NIT for Villanova. Pretty unremarkable college career.
When was this?
ToucheDidnt we (Calhoun) elect not to play in NIT?
Seriously?Didnt we (Calhoun) elect not to play in NIT?
Seriously?
Is this part of the "I Can Troll Too" collection?
To what end?
It's an increasingly curious enterprise, but several cuts below your best work.
Yeah, well Duh on that.UConn could turn down NIT
After sitting through today’s 73-51 shellacking at the hands of St. John’s in the first round of the Big East tournament, Connecticut coach Jim Calhoun wouldn’t say that his team would be playing i…nypost.com
