Week 16 - Feb 19 to 25 (games, conf standings, NET)

There it is. 19 pts/13 reb/10 assists. Iowa is having one of those kind of games where they are getting plenty of contributions from everybody else, raining 3's.
 
Not great shooting for Clark today, but 24/15/10 is impressive. She got a seat on the bench the last couple minutes. 16 made 3's for the team.

Cook and Bryant looked good for Illinois, combined for 45.

98-83 in the closing seconds.

VA Tech looked they were gonna blow UNC out, but now we've got a game at the half. It was 21-5 after Q1.

Amoore had to to go the bench with foul trouble...and that's when UNC made its run.

Two straight games struggling to make her shots for Caitlin (24 points each game), including missing numerous layups, but she's hauled in 25 rebounds and added 19 assists in those two games.

The Hawks' defense will likely be their undoing in the NCAA tournament.

What's the record for fewest combined points in a quarter? Washington-Oregon St. are at 2-2 midway thru Q2. Huskies jumped out to a 14-5 lead in Q1.

Good question, Triad. my response would be Indiana although, like pretty much everyone else, they're inconsistent. I'm guessing you're angling to cast doubt on Iowa's offense?

You might recall what happened when Iowa played the team touted last season as the best defensive team in the country?

Vandy shoots 19 percent in the first half and leads by one in spite of a three-quarter court three from Saylor Poffenbarger at the half-time buzzer. Jordyn Cambridge is 0-10.
 
Looks like Maryland made a couple runs but Ohio St. has a commanding lead w/ less than a minute to go. I think the Bucks clinch at least a share of the Big 10 title w/ a win.

Desperation heave rims out for K State at the buzzer, would've tied it up. Big wins for the Jayhawks.
 
Wake Forest is without a doubt the best 6-22 team in the country. Yes they lost to Georgetown. They mentioned on the broadcast that Wake has played the 4th toughest schedule in the country based on Opponent NET rankings.
 
Pitt melting in Q4, outscored 16-4. Orange now up by 4.

Just curious... how many 6-22 teams are there? I wanna know how proud I should be of that generous compliment.
