Missouri Valley is fun! Exciting finish to Drake at Belmont. Dinnebier and Cheesman are playing H-O-R-S-E, taking turns splashing 3s. Huge game for Katie, on the verge of another 40 piece.

Arizona St. defense is on track. Gave up 49 points and a season high tying 11 3's to Utah in the first half. 30 seconds into Q3 Utes hit #12.
We are moving into an epic area with this Sun Devil squad. The depths to which they've plumbed on both offense and defense are attribute to what some have called moxie and others have called a rebuild.

While I feel for you, Washington is in year 8 of rebuilding, so I've been suffering longer than you have. The Langley era isn't nearly as bad as the Wynn era, but neither are what I'm hoping for. Who do you think gets back to the Tourney first--UW or ASU? Or maybe neither will ever make it again.

If you haven't watched Katie Dinnebier play, you are missing out. Just set her career high w/ 41, 14-25 overall and 9-17 from 3. Just one huge shot down the stretch after another. Also 8 assists. About to lead Drake to a huge road win at Belmont, will draw those two into a tie for 2nd place.

Look out, San Diego is hot! 2 game winning streak raises their conference record to...2-14.

I can safely say that the damage being done in Tempe under the Adair era will never be undone. The Sun Devils will never ever dance again I am confident if Adair were renewed she could easily lose 20 games a season to infinity and beyond.

As to Seattle you would know better than I if the Huskies will ever have an opportunity to dance again.

I'm gonna say it--refs are out of control calling offensive fouls on screens this year. Totally out of control.

Oklahoma St. doing it again. Trying to lose to BYU. Bottom feeders are kryptonite to them. This finish is painful. I think 6 straight possessions with a TO, neither team wants this game.

Wow. I've been halfway watching Montana St. @ Weber St. I just realized there is NOBODY in the arena. I think I counted about 12 fans. I've never seen an arena that empty before. Sad. (okay, covid era doesn't count)
Weber State takes down Montana in Ogden in front of 4500 fans, 4450 disguised as empty seats.

Theoretically I don't know why not, but 8 years is a long time and I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Failure to box out may cost the girls the game if Cougars can hit their free throws which is a big if.

Oklahoma St. might be the most perplexing team in the country. They've beaten all the best teams in the Big 12, but have also lost to 3 of the worst. Weird.

Looks like Flaujae Johnson may not be available at all or be limited vs Texas today due to a lower leg injury and Mikyalah Williams is coming off the flu

What's going on with Moore of Texas? I see she is out

Im excited about this TN/Ole Miss game. Should be fun

Huge implications for NC State today against UNC. A win by NC State today will keep us with only one conference loss and a date with Notre Dame looms soon...and give us the tie-breaker over almost every other team that has the potential to finish in the top 4 (State has already beaten Duke, Louisville, Florida State)...with Georgia Tech on the horizon next week.

Fried chicken is on the menu this Sunday
The two worst FT shooting teams in the conference squaring off today. I think there's a great chance that those attending the game may get some free chicken themselves!

A loss like this, on national TV mind you, can be damaging to the brand. This is as much a wake-up call for Dawn as it is for the team itself. These losses are starting not to look like one-offs anymore.

Look at the starting line-up--all upperclassmen (one grad, two seniors, two juniors (one redshirt junior, so essentially another senior)). Only one of those starters scored in double figures today. Not one of them had more than five rebounds. Who are the leaders? "Leading by example" works if the proper example is being set. Otherwise, you need upperclassman voices. Where are they? Who's holding their fellow teammates (and themselves) accountable?

You may also have to think about what's happening with the coaching staff (what is it with the slow offensive starts?), but that's a conversation best left for another occasion.

Was Utsby hurt? No points and 1 rebound. I don't see minutes played in the box score.

#12 UNC squeaks out a 1 point “upset” win over #10 NC State. Another one in the + column for UConn today for March.

Poor Miami just can't get over the top. Back and forth battle w/ Florida St., lose by 1. Had a last second shot that hit back rim and popped out. Latson was out but Gordon went nuts w/ 34. Haley Cavinder scored 25 and was flirting with a triple double.
