That seems a bit hasty. Miami is always a dangerous wildcard.Well, at least one team from the Tar Heel state showed how to hold serve on the road against a 3rd rate opponent.
I didn't expect that team to be the powder blue one, but it seems that NC State may have peaked in November.
Let's recall that he guaranteed a Duke win tonight. He's got a lot on the line here.Poor TDF. Team Banghart prevails.
Swerve:Chelsea Gray as an analyst tonight for the VT-Duke match up. Cool.
It's not just about tonight. They didn't look great in December either. That seems a bit hasty. Miami is always a dangerous wildcard.
I think @Plebe forgot that with Syracuse also taking down FSU, “there are no nights off on the ACC”, now if only @triaddukefan can get his team to step up tonightThat seems a bit hasty. Miami is always a dangerous wildcard.
Next up is Pitt, then ND-VT-Lou!Cuse has come back to take a 1pt lead on FSU. Fighting Naranjas would be tied for 2nd with win!
Yeah and 3 of Syracuse's 5 wins are over Clemson, Wake Forest and Boston College ... to go with their upset wins at home over ND and FSUNext up is Pitt, then ND-VT-Lou!
Virginia Tech was up 13-3 and I turned the game off and popped in a "Hazel" DVD to cheer myself up after NC State's loss. Now, Duke is up 15 in the 4th quarter. What in the world happened?I think @Plebe forgot that with Syracuse also taking down FSU, “there are no nights off on the ACC”, now if only @triaddukefan can get his team to step up tonight
Was wondering the same. Did @triaddukefan convince VT to pack it in after Q1? It was 18-7 after 10 minutes. ALL Duke since then.Virginia Tech was up 13-3 and I turned the game off and popped in a "Hazel" DVD to cheer myself up after NC State's loss. Now, Duke is up 15 in the 4th quarter. Duke started to come back, and then Amoore went out with a concussion most likely and that completely deflated VTVirginia Tech was up 13-3 and I turned the game off and popped in a "Hazel" DVD to cheer myself up after NC State's loss. Oh dear. That will be a huge loss for VT if she has to be out a few games.Duke started to come back, and then Amoore went out with a concussion most likely and that completely deflated VT
This season is really turning into a battle of attrition. Anyone getting thru the year with their stars and/or most of their roster intact will have a big advantage in the post season.Duke started to come back, and then Amoore went out with a concussion most likely and that completely deflated VT
This is true and so unfortunate. Almost every top team has lost at least one starter for the season or significant amount of time. UCLA, NC State, UConn, LSU, Utah, Texas, Notre Dame, UNC and I’m sure I’m forgetting some. Hopefully Georgia Amoore will be back quickly. This season is really turning into a battle of attrition.
