Cal St. Northridge is playing currently, at home, and it looks like they are right in the middle of all the fires. Looks like Pepperdine and LMU are pretty close to equidistant to CSUN. Don't see any postponements from the Big West Conference so far.

edit--almost no fans there, but that might be normal for CSUN

Thanks, interesting that Northwestern made the decision.

I don't know my LA geography well enough to be aware of exactly where the fires are and how close that is to various schools.
Northwestern elected not to play UCLA (about 6-7 miles from the Palisades fire) Sunday nor USC, about 16 miles from the Altadena fire, on Wednesday. UCLA offered to move the game to an alternate venue further from the fires but Northwestern declined the offer. The B1G officially designated the games postponed but I think the B1G will have difficulty finding new dates given the three schools’ schedules going forward. I can imagine if the conference can’t reschedule the games it will rule them as Northwestern forfeits for the purpose of determining conference standings.

BTW HC Cori Close and Assistant Coach Tony Newman live just east of the I-405 near the Getty Center and a few miles north of the UCLA Campus. Their homes are in an evacuation warning zone so they need to prepare in the event the fire moves eastward from Pacific Palisades and they get an evacuation order. Everything west of the I-405 in that area including the Getty Center in under evacuation order.

Yeah, my immediate thought is that Northwestern is not going to be very motivated to try to reschedule these games. That's a long way to travel for a pair of 30+ point beat downs.

Montana St. gets a big road win at Northern Arizona, gives them a leg up in the Big Sky race. All alone in first place and already beat the #2 team in their house. Rematch 2/6 in Bozeman.

One more team gets off the winless list. Cal St. Bakersfield beat Cal St. Northridge. Rode a big 4th quarter to the win.

Wisconsin actually was leading the 3rd quarter. The Terps defense was great in the 4th holding Wisconsin to just 8 points.
Planned on watching the game when it's on BIG10+. Definitely will be watching to see how this all went down.

Portland beat San Francisco, St. Mary's also won. Now a 5 way tie for 1st place in the WCC. I'm gonna go ahead and guess no other conference can claim that currently. Also Oregon St. 1/2 out of 1st.

Terrifyingly close to UCLA. If they reach U$C, LA will all but cease to exist.
