Bueckers was on a 15-minute restriction like 3 weeks ago.

Tonight she played about 45 minutes, with 27 points on 10-15 shooting. And most of it in overtime when we needed every one of them.

Legendary.
As Ron Weasley said…brilliant but scary.

NC State had a higher shooting %, a higher 3pt %, a higher FT %, more D rebounds, twice as many assists, 5 more blocks... and still lost.

That's a box score that should never happen.
The important line in box score is Paige scoring 15 of her 27 in OT

No, dummy. On a player touching the ball before it got to the shooter. Had at least two chances.
Only had one chance when Perez got the ball up top and the defender was nowhere near her, she maybe could've sprinted towards her and tried to foul.

Christyn Williams has bricked -- not just missed, but ugly clanging bricks -- about 6 3's in a row. Not going to miss seeing that.

Aaliyah Edwards back to killing us on both ends too.
Bringin' the love, I see. Always fumin', never zoomin'.

Bueckers was unreal, she's an amazing basketball player. Fudd is also ridiculously good. I don't know the other final 4 teams but my guess is they'll beat up on UConn down low. Bueckers is going to have to dominate and get some help.
South Carolina has a beast down low, 6'5 Aaliyah Boston, and they play tough defense too. Boston was conceded by everyone to be going to UConn but at last minute SC swooped in and convinced her to go there instead. UConn has decent size down low but losing Dujacz to injury tonight will hurt. UConn can win it all but Stanford, the reigning champions, is a solid team too. SC, Stanford and UConn are the top 3 this year (sorry Louisville, you just aren't in this class even if you are also a #1 seed).

Made me queasy once they finally showed it.
The quick glance that I had from cameras, it looked instantly swollen. I agree, made me a little queasy also. Thinking she won't be back the rest of the tournament did not help much. Great game!!!!!

I get the feeling that, except for turnovers, UConn can score every time down simply taking what NC St is giving them. Don't force threes, don't force shots inside.
It was amazing our girls battled back against every threat. There were a couple of times I thought it was lost. Not so.

It was instantly swollen after instantly snapping. She's out until next pre-season.

This team is the total opposite of the men's team. They have exceptional guard play but nothing down low.
Geno’s really happy with his post players last night. They had to slow down Elissa Cunane, a 6-5 senior All-American. Geno also praised the offensive rebounding, especially in the overtimes

Before her injury other WNBA players were saying she’s the best playing the game today - can’t wait to see Paige get back to full strength. Her performance in those OTs was special last night.

Cunane kept flipping up what looked like prayers, and every single one went in. Never saw anything like it.

She rimmed out a few bunnies, too. Had a good OT, but wasn't impressed with her 2nd half.
