I'm not buying that we were just a couple of plays away from a winning record. We had no chance, P coached us into losses. That Temple game was a disgrace. And the NC State game is a forgotten clustef**k. That's a win with a decent coach.
I think the question that needs to be asked to PP is how does next years team win the NC State, Temple and WMU games? If you cannot win the 'what if?' games a season later, you are going backwards.

It seems to me that the latest vib out of our athletic department is one of findings justifications for failure rather than laying out a map for success. Yes there are some challenges that our athletic department faces but take the example of football. Does P face more challenges than FUCCRE? Some how he got us in bowls, and when the breaks fell just right to 2 conference championships and one BCS bowl. I truly beleive that we would have gone bowling last year under Edsall, and probably this past year as well. That's not competing for a national championship, but it is respectable. A bowl streak helps with recruiting and I beleive would help us in conference realignment. Losing records are killing us.

So was Edsall that good or is Pasqualoni that bad?

Well, considering that Pasqualoni is a defensive minded coach and had DB at that position, you could say that his choice GDL is the big bust in his scheme. He has to go, with his unimaginative game management. LM upthe middle for 1 or 2 yrds on almost every 1st down doesn't cut it.
