What a dork
25+ PPG, 8+ RPG, and 6+ APG shooting 50% from field and 38%+ from 3 PT. I think that would do it!This makes perfect sense from the standpoint that he said he wants to be the focal point of a team.
This makes zero sense from the standpoint of him wanting to be in the 2019 NBA draft. I don't think any amount of numbers he puts up that first year at UNM gets him drafted

Seriously, these guys bailing on the team only helps add fuel for those who remain. And the players that remain are a LOT better than the ones that left.
Coincidence that UConn has worst season in a quarter century with VJ, VJ decides to transfer to New Mexico and now the state has confirmed cases of the plague?
Two more cases of human plague confirmed in New Mexico
From a quick look I think he has the lowest winning percentage since Phil Gamble and Cliff Robinson from 1985-1989Will almost certainly go down as the UConn player with the worst win percentage in 35 years, along with Durham. Sort of fitting if you ask me.
What are your thoughts? How do you propose to make the experience more unique? How do you make UConn more fun of a school? Let's give the internet a birth year of 1990 for being universally available. UConn has won 18 team national championships since then. So any of the new wave kid who wants to brand themselves a national champion can do a whole worse than attending the un-fun, un-unique school in Storrs, CT.Any thoughts here on Storrs, CT not being an attractive place for the new wave of kids? Kids want a unique experience more than ever. Lets face it - UConn just isn't that fun of a school. The internet age has given young kids a platform and the ability to brand themselves. Selling kids on the past just doesn't cut it anymore.

Don't think I saw this mentioned but Vance benefited greatly from Larrier getting injured as well as Gilbert. If both those guys played this past season Vance wouldn't have gotten anywhere near the same amount of playing time. I'm sure those two coming back especially Larrier played a major role in his decision to transfer. Larrier is clearly the better player and they play the same position.
Women are new age kids, women want something unique, women want to have fun, women want to win NC'slol women's titles.
Agreed. Looking at the Lobos NBA production over the past decade wouldn't be a selling point....Agree, trying to find some logic buried somewhere here and can't. Other than he just did not get along with KO.
I hope everything turns out the way he wants it to.
