Please be true. I know he got into some trouble, but he's a fantastic young player. 6'5 athletic and efficient guard.
 
Never thought this would be a possibility. Daniels and Vance are good friends and Daniels talked about him and Vance transferring (before it happened) on Vance's IG live. Be a good pickup tho.
 
I would like to know what he did to get suspended. We will probably never know, though.

It's in Utah, could be something small by regular standards. Brandon Davies got suspended for having premarital sex at BYU.

Also could have gotten the "I'm leaving attitude" because at the time, Utah was playing horribly and as people have said, he wasn't exactly tight lipped about his transferring.

"Conduct detrimental to the team." Nothing else seems to have floated out anywhere else. Sounds more like it fit into the coach-player or player-team didn't see eye to eye and something happened behind the scenes. Red flag possibly, but not an exclusionary one.

He could apply for a waiver to play immediately if his suspension was bogus, no? A la what Kuran Iverson did when leaving Memphis for URI

Edit: after looking more his suspension was lifted after 3 games and he played the final 2 so this likely wouldn't occur

Luckily we aren't that thin at guard compared to the front court. Utah fans thought he'd be their next NBA player and he would probably slot right into the two for us the following year.

the weird sense of schadenfreude I'd get from knowing Vance will hear his best friend will be new best friends with Jalen Adams over the next couple years partying in Storrs :D.

Too many burned bridges at this point for this to be realistic. Someone who has enough hubris to walk away from the team he committed to because he thinks he deserves more praise typically has too much pride to walk back with his tail between his legs.
