Why does Papst Blue Ribbon have bulls?
I suspect you’re joking, but also suspect Professional Bull Riders (“PBR”) may not drink PBRs before hopping on a bull. Or, maybe PBRs help summon up the courage.

Harkening back to yesteryears, heading to Yankee Spirits to pick up PBR cases or kegs. Quality libations!

Oh, they were bad even back then, but the price was right.
You didn't have the full college experience from back in our days If you hadn't at least once purchased (and drank) a case of Red, White & Blue beer (Pabst B label beer) for $5.50 plus tax & deposit (the going rate in 1981-1982).

On a (then) college student's budget, it was one of the very few affordable beers, and the only beer I've ever had that tasted better warm than it did cold.

We drank Schlitz.

A thread started because people were all goo goo Gaga that USF beat a Florida team that won 4 games this year.

The truth about USF:

USF's brand new stadium seats less than the rent by a few thousand despite their bigger market

Name an AAC coach that has gone on to be really successful in a P conference. Heupel might be it and he’s got 1 playoff shellacking to show for it.

Name an AAC coach who didn’t get paid millions to join the big boys in the P leagues. Take the money and run!!!

Pabst cases were bar bottles

Pabst cases were bar bottles
I was talking about Red White & Blue, which was brewed by Pabst but was a lesser quality than Pasbst (to give you an idea of how bad it was). The distributor back then (nearly 45 years ago) only carried cans. It was cheap and it was beer, those were the only redeeming qualities.

Back in the day, we bought Schaefer Beer. It was cheap and we could get it in quart bottles to drink in the dorm rooms while we were "studying".
I remember getting a case of Schaefer bar bottles for $1.61 plus tax and deposit in the mid 1980s.

Are you sure that wasn't the price of a six pack?
