I like: "Ow-goose-toose"

:D
that was funny. I had to say it out loud to figure out who you were talking about. Glad her last name is not Gloop...

When Maya headed for the bench a bit ago, was she wincing?

The Croats seem to primarily be defending the circle...not working with Tina or Sylvia but they are bothering Parker a lot...

hey... what you guys think of how they set up the barrier in front of the bench??? saw the coaches having to move their legs out of way whenever the subs are going in/out.

Her recognition of the totality of the floor and the movment of the game is simply incredible. She moves to spots and breaks on balls before the opponents even know they are going to make that pass.

Amen...

I thought the same thing but she didn't limp that I could see..... we'll watch to see how her minutes are managed in the 2nd half

That barrier would have come in handy in the Baylor vs. UT game in the Elite Eight last year.

yeah I wonder if they set it up that way to prevent bench emptying during a melee?? not that I am saying it may be more common over there to see players in fights.

Schools may use that idea against UConn this season just to slow down the shift changes.

I'd say Maya's block and strip under the basket makes the Sky Turk weekly highlights!

These guys are head and shoulders above the USA announcing teams. They know the players names AND ANNOUNCE THE RIGHT NAME for the player they are talking about!

On edit...while I don't understand a word of what they are saying outside of the names, it is clear to me that they are doing play-by-play and not delving into "human interest" side stories.

With Taurasi and Whalen on the floor, if you turn your head for a second you could get knocked out...

Amazing that the team has not really practiced together all that long but have the appearance of having gone through an entire season of basketball together.

You can get a step on Maya off the dribble, but you can't get a shot off anyway so why try...?

Coach must really be cracking the whip! ;)
