I don't care that DD didn't choose UConn. Obviously we can't get every player we go after, and more power to her if she decided UNC was the place for her. I don't understand why discussing players like DeShields on our board (right after a controversial game) means that we "hate them because they didn't pick UConn". Griner was discussed here all the time. So was Diggins. So is Sims. I don't think any of them had UConn on their radar in terms of recruiting. Diamond makes news with her attitude on the court and how she speaks off it. Discussing her on thsi board has little to do with the fact that she was a UConn target, IMO.
