A certain team had better be worried,Ball St is undefeated.
Mostly, there just are not enough good teams yet. I mean LMU and USC being unbeaten after 6 is no big deal.I'll bet if you look at the schedules of most of the "unbeatens", you'll find they began their season in a BAKERY. Now they're beginning to play other teams that are in their class, talent and skill wise.

So?
Yikes with the number for Navy. There are only 349 teams in Division 1, so Sagarin is saying that only 7 teams have played a weaker schedule.Sagarin schedule rank added to the list of unbeatens. (Yeah, I know their numbers are suspect this time of year but still pretty indicative.)
Ball St. - 256
Fl St. - 127
Kansas - 315
Louisville - 9
Miss St - 73
Navy - 342
New Mexico - 218
USC - 206
Syracuse - 220
TN - 99
TX - 126
UC Davis - 251
Villanova - 71
West VA - 94
Uconn - 3
Two schools on this list stand out from the others - no idea how good teams like TX really are and we will not know until they actually play someone - best wins to date - Georgia and LSU neither of which are expected to be better than bottom dwellers in their conferences.
And for those questioning why Louisville is so highly ranked ... they are actually playing and beating other well regarded teams.
Well Massey's algorithms show them to have played a powerhouse schedule of 311!!! (Kansas SOS at 280 so not much better - though they have now dropped out of the unbeatens)Yikes with the number for Navy. OB: just now found this. VERY nice of you to add this to the thread. Jack Benny got such a kick out of this bit, and I re-watched with great delight and found it to be even better than I had remembered, which tells you all you need to know about my memory (SIGH).
Florida State suffers its first loss to Texas today.
And right now UCF is leading UC Davis by 21 points at the half. This would be a huge win for UCF (and by extension for the AAC).
