There's a ways to go on that front. I don't think that they get a #1 seed unless there are more upsets along the wayFYI… UConn is now the favorite to win it all

They are the key!!! Showed USC they ain't soft!!South Carolina couldn't rely on their beat-em-up/knock-em-down game today. Too much size (and grit) with Sarah and Jana, and toughness throughout the UConn lineup.
UConn won’t get a #1 seed no matter what happensThere's a ways to go on that front. I don't think that they get a #1 seed unless there are more upsets along the way
Guess i need more cowbell.I think you have a fever!![]()
Way too early to say that. A lot of the top teams will be knocking each other off including TX over #5 LSU today, and I expect UConn to run the table on the BE regular season and conference tournament.UConn won’t get a #1 seed no matter what happens
So negative. Jeez.UConn won’t get a #1 seed no matter what happens
I've got a fever. And the only prescription...is more cowbell.Guess i need more cowbell.
UConn will likely jump both LSU & SC to #5, putting the Huskies behind ND, USC, TX & UCLA, with a lot more games to be played.#3 Texas just defeated #5 LSU by 7 points.
How will this affect #7 UCONN's rankings & potential seeding?
I did the same thing. I tried my best not to look at the ESPN App for any score info. Unfortunately I was using the ESPN App to watch softball and as I was switching between games to watch, they showed the halftime score under the link to watch the gameI taped game and just saw the score and am stunned
I am ashamed for being such a coward
The girls deserved better
I predict that UCONN will be the 1st #2 seed.UConn won’t get a #1 seed no matter what happens
Thank you for your reply.Every silver lining has a cloud, huh?
I'm also glad that Geno acknowledged her play in the game. There was lots to love about this game. My favorite was the game that Jana played. This may be one of those games that gives her the confidence to just act and not think too much. We may well have seen the beginning of a great career for her, as well as the key to our going a long way this year. Way to go, Jana!
That's a logical scenario. And the SEC tournament should be very competitive!UConn will likely jump both LSU & SC to #5, putting the Huskies behind ND, USC, TX & UCLA, with a lot more games to be played.
Thanks for the laugh!
Azzi will be the key, if she can consistently make shots that puts Uconn at another level on offense. That might have been the best game I have seen a UConn team play in years.
I admit, I had SC by double-digits and was off by >40 points on the MOV.
IMO, the difference was the attitude. They did not come out tentative, they took it to SC.
Outrebounding 48-29 is remarkable.
Besides Azzi's 2nd half scoring, Jana's performance and Ash's energy stood out.
This shows that this team has the potential to beat anyone - If only we could bottle this performance
I got it, even if no one else didI've got a fever. And the only prescription...is more cowbell.
I agree with everything except she was NOT faster than Fulwiley on South Carolina, KK was the closest to her speed and I don't think even she was as fast as Fulwiley.Watching the game I quickly concluded Sarah Strong was the best athlete on the floor. She was a dominant player this afternoon because she is quicker and stronger than anyone on USC’s team. She will be the difference in the NCAA tournament.
Don’t disagree with any of the above observations either.
Yes. Kudos to Geno for taking time outs when SC seemed to get a little momentum. In the past, he would allow the team to play through the other team's run, but he strategically took them to slow SC down and did after the timeout. What a well-coached game!!Against SC, sometimes the other team can get a lead; but invariably, SC will have a monster quarter where they take the lead back and then pull away. UConn never let them do this- UConn played great all 4 quarters and after each one kept expanding their lead. Great coaching by Geno and staff- UConn was superbly prepared, the timeout to settle team when SC reduced lead to 10in 2nd quarter was perfectly timed, his substitutions were effective and didn’t give SC any advanatage.
