UConn vs Creighton this Sunday

Many Husky fans like college basketball enough to know about Creighton. Even more now as we share the same league but even prior I’ve had respect for the program and style.

Only thing I’m afraid of is our guys haven’t played and they hadn’t found the chemistry after 3 games prior to the 2 week layoff. Will be a tough task for our Huskies but no matter they need games. Our guards will have trouble defending the Jays but we will see as this is a major test immediately.
 
Going to be some rust. The guys will need to turn the intensity level to 11, out work them on D and on the glass and will their way to a W.
 
Small ball Nova type of offense.. Can our D be good/disruptive enough?? The kind of home game a crowd could have helped with.. Our depth will be key.. Expecting Martin and Jackson.. Their length and athleticism.. To have impact with perimeter D..

We have some really good side pieces as well. If Bouknight can really starts taking over games it will open up opportunities for other players such as cole and gaffney to shine as most likely all attention goes to stopping Bouk. Which I expect they will still not be able to do.

Yeah. Great weekend. Iowa -zags on now -then turn on all the big college football championship games , then tmrw UConn at noon , then wall to wall football on red zone the rest of the day. Great sports weekend

There isn't all that much difference. Except we will find the BE much easier.

Sorry, I was never a ZBE groupie. It's just a bunch of small Catholic Schools that were gutted by the ACC.

Besides, we were 65-61 in the AAC. In the last four years we were 32-40. I hated walking away with our tail between out legs because we couldn't compete. Hated it.

We will do much better in the BE. Bet the mortgage.

But not because the conference is easier than the AAC. It's because UConn is getting better and they now have a coach who cares and is rebuilding the mess he inherited.

Yes we will do better because we have a competent coach and rosters that will be much better than we ever had in the AAC... can’t tell if you’re being serious sometimes lol.

as much as i'd like to see you end up without internet access...even if we went undefeated in the aac we would still have abandoned it for the BE without hesitation. you have the trolling prowess of a russian bot.

Let‘s hope we see just how big an physical UConn can be tomorrow. Because we have the guys to play that way. I expect Josh to start along with Whaley and Martin. That front line should cause Creighton some problems. I want to see us dominate the boards. Creighton can score, but we cannot give them two shots or we lose this game.

Surprise of the day? I hoping the good Adams from game 1 is back. We need him.

This is what I expected but from Hurley's comments today it sounds like he plans on matching Creighton and playing small
