A Kyler Fedko single is erased by a great throw by their stud catcher. Damn.

I wouldn’t say shelled. Bad throw on double steal. Wild pitch. Seeing eye single. Lief Bigelow into pitch

14-2 Michigan with UConn up in the 6th. Chris Jones has been speculating that Erik Stock and Reggie Crawford might get mound action today after Bigelow is done.

Next year, we're playing Virginia, Iowa, and Applalachian State to start the year in Texas. That's another solid assortment of teams.

For some reason, we never schedule Rice or TCU. We've played just about every other Texas team at some point or another.

Listening to the game when Max Nielsen was in the game, he simply didn't have his control today.

Bottom 6th, Bigelow still pitching. I half expect Stock and Crawford to get an inning each to end the game. Todd Petersen is now at 3B, Bushling moves to shortstop, Nucerino in the game in LF. Chris Jones just said Stock is warming in the pen.

Top 7th, Moriarty hits for Christian Fedko, Brodnansky for Gozzo.

Bottom 7rh, Bigelow still on the mound. Chris Jones speculating that Stock and Crawford still might both pitch, Stock to righty hitters and Crawford to lefties, with them alternating at 1B when the other is on the mound. Apparently UConn has been experimenting with this in practice.

More than OK with Lief staying out there. He's looked good ever since giving up that HR, and he's a young guy too. Selfishly, I still want to see Crawford blow away some UM hitters.

Bigelow has picked up two scoreless innings since that homer, as you said.

Scoreless bottom of the 8th for Erik Stock, no sign of Reggie Crawford coming to the mound. 14-2 Michigan with UConn getting their last at bats today unless a miracle happens.
