complete garbage call on Stef for the foul .
 
Geno must have told his kids to give as good as they get.

Stef called for a foul. Up 40-21.
 
Tiff called for the perimeter hold - refs starting to call everything, probably sensing the game is starting to get away from them
 
OMG, why would you foul Schimmel there? On an off-balance running hook?

You guys want the officials to start blowing the whistles and so now UConn is down 4 fouls to 1 in the half. Be careful what you wish for.
 
The refs are doing a horrible job of getting this physical play under control. I've seen this kind of play lead to a punch in the nose.

Instead of a score prediction, lets predict how many players will foul out for each team now that the refs have decided that they need to start calling what they weren't calling before.

Bria is having an off night. Can't tell if she's being jostled or whatever. Luckily, CD is stepping up.

Just think after this game, the team has to play Georgetown on Saturday. The bruises will just starting to heal and then have to play another physical team.

I love that we have a bunch of girls who can carry the team on any given day, but just once I'd like to see everyone have a good game at the same time.
 
UL should have gotten a warning for tossing the ball away after the made basket
 
Things that are annoying me this game....the announcer, literally takes him at least 10 seconds to say Shoni Shimmels name when she scores...this isn't a world cup soccer game..just spit it out.

The physical play of L'Ville is out of control...I'm afraid someone is going to get hurt. It's Whack-A-Husky out there....as someone else said reminds me of the Rutgers games of years past.
