CD has gone cold, too. Where's Tiff?

Lead is down to 10.

WOW...did Schimmel and Simmons from Tennessee go to the same basketball camp? I am not sure that I have ever seen two players shoot too much and make poor decisions as often as they do. If Schimmel would make some good decisions this game would be much tighter.

Hammond is showing why she was pursued. Someone the other night was criticizing her play. She is killing us tonight.

UL down 10 with the balll

6:40 left

Now the lead is 8

it doens't matter that much how many fouls are called - a completely depleted L'ville team has h eld UCONN to 46 points. i'll be curious to hear what Geno has to say about this, but there have been a good number of games this year where UCONN simply has not played well, and they've come recently.

maybe not entire games, but the effort vs. USF was not good. the first 10 minutes of Syracuse, and there was another game where we stunk it up the first half. this team should be gelling come february, not looking messy and sloppy.

Offensive foul on KML, UL can cut it to 6.

KML needed to pull up on that one

Refs have completely rattled the team. Someone needs to step up and be a leader.

Bob - "LV is a much better team when Schimmel doesn't throw it up from everywhere."

GREAT rebound on that shot by Kiah, because the shooter didn't even draw iron and the ball caromed off at light speed.

Thank God, a foul on Hammond, UCONN retains possession

finally a call on Hammond for knocking Stef to the floor for that rebound.

UConn is not sniffing a national championship. No one can step up when games get tense. We're missing wide open shots. Everyone is looking for someone else to make a play.

and i have to say i don't get jacking up the 3's. i guess if you throw enough of them, something has to go in but that doesn't seem to be a good shot for UCONN tonite...

Everybody missed Kiah all alone in the lane. We need to start seeing who's open.

Schimmel drains another J. The lead is 6.

timeout Geno, 5:08 left

Open 3 point look for Kelly but she's not the person to take the shot.

Good news is that we are getting good shots, however.

well to be fair Alex, other teams have gone thru periods in a 40 minute game where the struggle. the problem is UCONN is struggling every game it seems and for more than short stretches.

Bob - "Huskies in a little bit of trouble here..."

Someone just needs to hit a shot...I think were ofer the last 8?

We've seen this play before; when the opponent is really physical, fouling, and otherwise up in our grill, impeding our offense, we're not able to create sufficiently when we need to.

It doesn't help when we miss wide open players in the lane (Kiah twice in the last few minutes has been all alone)
