Broadhurst advanced a base on each of the ground outs by Garbowski and Brini, so they did move the runner into scoring position. The value of a hitter making contact again.

A lot of hard contact today. I have been a major critic of this offense, but today is more bad luck apart from Huber’s disappointing double play (he kind of atoned for it with the glove in the bottom half of the inning).

Think Daniels is gonna get more playing time…
