Recent-ish grad with an actual job.A current student?
He used to be entertaining, but not much lately. I think he actually believes if he makes up a fake story on UConn joining another conference, then gets enough people to retweet / repost it, that it'll cause that fake story to become real. Or something. He does have a gift for whipping up the internets into a frenzy, but there's never been a payoff to that. Or maybe he has a need for approval that manifests in saying crazy to get a reaction from people on social media. (case in point) I think it's appropriate he doesn't post on the board, medic is doing a good job picking up the recruiting info. If you need HFD for s and giggles just follow him on twitter, and then go follow Jeff Jacobs for actual leaks from UConn.
Then you really haven't explored the board enough, never mind the rest of the internet. He is the worst online personality of any that I have ever come across on the entire internet.
Oh please, those who boosted his ego had him thinking he is a message board star.[/quote
Please get over it Butch
Reading this, I disturbingly got a visual from Pulp Fiction...."Bring out the gimp"That said I would love for him to be freed up on Saturday nights from 10-midnight. He gets one thread and can post whatever he wants (within reason of course).
My error, I meant to type he, not we."Hopefully we will grow up a bit and at that point be allowed to return."
Fish Daddy rapped my knuckles and sent me to my room last night without my cake or gameboy after I questioned this, so not likely to happen...
Beware when questioning your authority figures!
Oh it is used. It makes the board far, far more readable.I don't get why he was banned but I don't know the story so whatever. All I know is there is an ignore button and for some reason nobody uses it(including me). Give dan another chance
Agree 10000000% There are only a few who get the "ignore" (mainly RU and Louisville trolls) but it makes the board so much easier to read.Oh it is used. It makes the board far, far more readable.
Pods.....
FSU would not have to play Pitt, BC and Cuse every year while not playing GT and UNC.
The ACC has had real problems with divisional alignment...make it pods, with the two best teams playing in a CCG...and you solve a ot of scheduling problems.
What would the pods look like?
UConn Dan said:They are going to 3 pods of 5 each and UConn will be going to the ACC.
But seriously, this isn't the first time we've heard this from Swofford. He previously made the same points before the GOR and in my opinion I think Swofford was looking out for the ACC by getting the Big 12 the option to have a championship game w/o expanding to 12.
If it's 3 pods of five will look like this:FSU, Miami, GT, Clemson
UNC, NC State, Wake, Duke
VTech, UVa, Louisville, Cinci
BC, Pitt, Cuse, UConn
Looks good to me. F ND.
If it's 3 pods of five will look like this:
UConn, Cuse, Pitt, BC, Louisville
FSU, Miami, GT, Clemson, Wake
UNC, NC State, Duke, Virginia, VA Tech
Top 2 ranked teams will play CCG.
Plus 15 teams in football (w/ the pod system) would mean an even 16 teams in all other sports with ND.
