Woodworth walks, so Pat Winkel is up with the bases loaded again. 2 out.

Winkel strikes out. Wurster stays in to pitch the bottom of the 9th with a 10-4 UConn lead.

I like keeping Caleb out here - see if we can save CJ and Wallace for tomorrow.

Wurster gives up a two run homer with nobody out in the 9th. 10-6 UConn. Wallace is coming in to pitch.

At least we still have CJ :(

They may want to rest Dandeneau tomorrow to get him over his injury before the AAC tourney starts. Wurster and Wallace definitely out tomorrow. With the win blowing a gale out, tomorrow should be a wild game as Tulane has used most of its main relievers as well.

All sorts of positives, the only real negative on Penders cheat sheet is the third base coach doing a crappy job and getting Kyler Fedko thrown out on the bases. Also, lots of positive words, including good words for Angus Mayock getting two big hitters out, Chiovitti producing after sitting on the bench for most of the season (sounds like he is going to get a chance to play with Nucerino out), and David Langer smoking the ball in his at bats.

Still a possibility for a three way tie where head to head results are all a wash between UConn, Cincinnati, and Houston. I have not seen anything official regarding the tiebreaking procedure if we win and Houston wins causing such scenario.

If they do it like basketball, where it's record vs the top teams in the standings:

Houston went 1-2 vs ECU.
Cincy and UConn both went 0-3 vs ECU.
That would make Houston the 2 seed.

Next best would be Tulane, where Cincy went 1-2 so that'd make us the 3 seed and Cincy the 4 seed.
