Hard to believe we are 1-3. We’ve played pretty well this year. Those walk yesterday were painful.

Keep this toga line up.
 
Cannot walk their 9 hitter. Make him beat us and spot their dangerous top of the lineup with an out.
 
#9 hitter earned a double on a great at bat. I still prefer that to a walk.

Christian great defensive play for our #1.

Simeone then strikes out Trimble after a lengthy at bat.
 
Bottom 3rd, leadoff double for USM, and a two out walk. Three run homer ties it up at 3.
 
We need that big hit to break things open. Hasn't happened through the first 4 1/3 games!
 
Bottom 4th, after a leadoff double, another double gives USM a 4-3 lead. Gallagher warming in the UConn pen.
 
Simeone throwing error on a bunt play, scoring another run to make it 5-3. Batter makes it to 2B with no out.
 
After ground out to 3B, Simeone coming out, Gallagher in to pitch with one out in the bottom of the 4th.
 
When the wheels fall of Joe Sim it goes south quickly. Rarely is there such thing as an easy inning...
 
Top 5th, scoreless inning for the UConn offense. David Langer does pick up his second hit of the game.
