I think Christyn is 3 for 3. Does that sound correct?

Seriously?
Note the poster’s handle, specifically “pup.” Probably doesn’t know who the Big “E” is either. That’s the kind of stuff that old farts like me know.

Edit: That’s the kind of stuff that old farts like you & me know.

As mentioned in the recruit thread, Christyn Williams is one of three finalists (Sam Brunelle, Charli Collier) for the Gatorade national player of the year.

The Great Candace Parker is the only Junior to win the award, I don't think Sam will win, but it would be something to see, still to be a finalists is a big deal with all the other good seniors out there.

I'm 43 so the big O to me means Oprah Winfrey and that didnt seem right in the context.

Sometimes.

I only saw Oscar at the end of his career with Jabbar in Milwaukee I believe so I missed his many good years

Consider yourself lucky. I wish I was 43 and didn’t know who the Big O is.

While attending a Laker game about 10 years ago, I decided to visit the snack bar. As I was going up the stairs, who do I see sitting all alone to my right? Oscar Robertson (Mr. triple double). I stopped long enough to shake his hand and said hello, then moved on. I'm sure he was in no mood to entertain a random fan, so I left the man alone and moved on. The one thing I took away from that encounter was that Robertson had one of the largest hands I've ever shaken. My hand disappeared in his. He was gracious and did not appeared annoyed with being recognized. I'm taller than Robertson (6'5"), and I can palm a basketball, but his hands dwarfed mine.

CONGRATULATIONS. Chrystyn.......And again , Welcome to Uconn.

Christyn arrives at UConn filling a position of need, Scoring Guard. She might have an easier time breaking into the starting lineup. I'm sure when Geno recruited Espinoza-Hunter he thought she might fill that role in her Sophomore year.
