Bottom 5th, with 2 outs, Krauth gives up the first hit of the day off him. Another scoreless inning for him. 3-0 Huskies. Krauth at 71 pitches. Suspect we know who will be starting next Friday for UConn.
Top 7th, Bushling with a 1 out double, he's on base for the third time this game. Stock follows with an infield single for his third hit of the game to put runners on the corners. Christian Fedko sac fly makes it 5-0 Huskies.
Offense has exceeded my expectations. All we really need to have for a complete team is more starting pitching. There us good reason to be excited right now.
Miles still on the mound for PC, which probably tells you all you need to know about their pitching staff. Winkel leads off the 8th with a double. Ground out moves Winkel to 3B, and now a pitching change. On to the PC bullpen. It's been a quick game until now.
Bushling rbi single makes it 9-0. Another pitching change with the bases loaded and 1 out. Considering the PC bullpen has problems throwing strikes and getting outs, the game could really slow up, which could impact the second game.

Good to see the offense produce, but the teams (including PC) UConn faces in the next couple of weeks are not exactly the strongest on the UConn baseball schedule. I'll really get excited if the Huskies are able to do this sort of thing once they get into AAC play.
