Great get for Chesney.
Losing players to a ranked team....Is anyone else finding losing projected starters to James Madison deflating? Is there even a point to this if that’s how desperately anyone with talent will jump off ship?

… w/ a new head coach and coaching staff. Jobs are open/fresh start for all.Losing players to a ranked team....
Can you imagine what schools are saying when they lose similar players to our 3-9 disaster? Losing players to a ranked JMU team is far from a head scratcher. It's time for us to get over ourselves and recognize how low we are on the CFB totem pole.Is anyone else finding losing projected starters to James Madison deflating? In the case of Ruelas, even in the face of McFadden's struggles last year (and his own successes), Mora still didn't demonstrate that he had confidence in Ruelas to take the job back; you can't blame him for looking for a new opportunity after being in the program 4 years (2020-2023). Best of luck to a kid who showed up as a walk-on and demonstrated he should be playing somewhere at an FBS level. Can you imagine what schools are saying when they lose similar players to our 3-9 disaster? Teams haven’t lost anyone to our 3-9 disaster. Every P5 transfer we get is some backup who couldn’t cut it at that level. We’re losing starters to James Madison. It’s not the same. Can you imagine what schools are saying when they lose similar players to our 3-9 disaster? Losing players to a ranked JMU team is far from a head scratcher. Went down to Harrisonburg for the game last year and can’t blame anyone for jumping ship. Much better game day atmosphere and clearly superior on field product. Is anyone else finding losing projected starters to James Madison deflating? No JMU was one of the best FCS teams in the country and continued to be really good when the bumped up to FBS. Let’s see what the new coach can do with them.Is anyone else finding losing projected starters to James Madison deflating? McFadden had one of the lowest made FG % and XP % in FBS last year. I don’t think he ever recovered from his injury. Ruelas was solid except his FG made % over 30 yards in 2022 was 44% which is too low.Is McFadden still “untaken” from that godforsaken portal? Is there a reason why 2 kickers, way better at their slot then anyone on our team, both split?
And they are better than the IU kid, imo. Best of luck to him, in any event.
When UConn was only a few years into 1A, we were got transfers from Notre Dame and USC.It’s ridiculous that we’re losing players to a third year 1A program.
JMU is way better than us and were ranked. They currently have alot more to offer than we do.It’s ridiculous that we’re losing players to a third year 1A program.
Speaks to the incompetence in our Athletic Department unable to emphasize the only sport that really matters in conference realignment
Fixed it for you. Clearly the coaches didn’t think so.Is McFadden still “untaken” from that godforsaken portal? Is there a reason why 2 kickers, way better at their slot then anyone on our team, both split?

Turner had a career year in Ross's absence. You think P4 starters are transferring to G5's in droves?Teams haven’t lost anyone to our 3-9 disaster. Every P5 transfer we get is some backup who couldn’t cut it at that level. We’re losing starters to James Madison. It’s not the same.
JMU from last yr is completely different than JMU now. Cignetti fleeced their offense and took a lot of them with him to IndianaJMU is way better than us and were ranked. They currently have alot more to offer than we do.
