Spencer played a really good game as the main guy out there for Memphis alongside Wells. Great offensive stat line. Only negative was 7 fouls (you get 10 in summer league).

JAYLEN WELLS AT THE BUZZER!!!!

Cam had a GREAT game. 18 points, 8 assists, 7 rebounds, 50% shooting including 3-7 (42.8%) from three
And one of the misses from 3 was a end of quarter heave.

It’s Summer League so they’re probably telling him to get shots up.

But during the season I hope he doesn’t take that many 3s in a little over a half.

Castle had a great first half but went ice cold in the second. Finished with 18 points (on 21 shots), but 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals. Again would have a lot more assists if this team was good lol

Not too worried about it because he’ll never take 21 shots next season. His looks will come much easier feeding off the attention of Wemby and even Vassell. He’s picking back up the full time PG skills really quickly

shooting can be improved. not too concerned. a lot of it seems mental with castle, much of it self imposed expectations. once he finds consistent success it should be better.

One thing I've noticed, which is directly attributable to playing for Hurley, both Cam and Steph move so well without the ball, never standing around ball watching on either offense or defense, always open or able to find the open man.

I'm sure it helped with Steph since he was ball dominant in HS but Cam had already been doing all the off-ball movement stuff at his previous stops
