Well I guess the other way to look at it is UConn is getting Home &Home with Holy Cross. Cornell had to play a pair at Sacred Heart.

I'd rather them go on the road and play a legit NCHC or Big Ten team than continually playing Holy Cross becuase the schools are close to each other.

I wonder if Holy Cross may eventually become the twelfth HE men's team (not my choice; if not QU, then Sacred Heart would suit me), as Hockey East is so Boston-area focused. They have been an HE women's team for years. Perhaps we are playing home-and-home as an HE prelude. Or we are just so bad, we need wins.

With the Maine Orono campus so remote for a bus league, is the uniqueness of the doubles a factor at all a factor in player recruitment? Does it impact a player’s decision at all? They and Vermont are certainly distinguished in HE for this setup.

The Wolf Pack released their schedule yesterday: Games | Hartford Wolf Pack

No game at the XL Center on Saturday, October 26. It would be pretty cool to get the UMass home game there that night to pair with the homecoming football game at the Rent that afternoon.

1 home game between Nov 15 and Feb 1 is insane. Non con schedule is hilariously bad

Should be a fun season coming up with all the young kids coming into the program. It will be interesting to watch the youngster develop over the season from junior level to college level. Looking forward to it.
