Booked flight to MD. Saturday morning (I have a wedding to go to on Friday night). Come home Sunday night. 160 bucks RT on southwest.
Sounds like good deals. I wouldn't be caught dead on Southwest but I'm sure it's fine if you're under 50 and don't care about the cattle car feeling. If any of you have ever been to SE Asia and flown Air Asia you'll know that airline is an example of a no frills carrier with real bargains that treats you with some dignity. It's sad when airlines like Air Asia and Bangkok Air are far superior to US carriers. Even Lao Air is better with damn good pilots in their mostly ATR 72's. Anyway, just venting a pet peeve because I travel to Asia regularly and never fly any US carrier, here or there, if I can help it. Have great trips and a big win.
I'm 52 and fly Southwest regularily... need to know the tricks of early boarding. Unless you have super elite status on another carrier and upgrades come frequently - all air travel is crap these days.
Try RyanAir from Europe... Southwest is high comfort...I call Southwest "School Bus of the skies"! My last choice in air carriers! But sometimes you don't have a choice...as far as I know they're the only airline you can fly BDL to BWI...and it's such a short flight. I was thinking about canceling my hotel and flying down that morning and flying home that night. Not quite sure if I want rush around all day tho?

Johnbuoy, that may be the single greatest post in boneyard history. . . .at least mine! scarfed up 8 today. I've sat up there, not bad seats. If things work out the way we all would like them to there could be plenty of room to move around later.
What sections are for the visiting team?
Anybody staying at the confort inn? just made my reservation today and will be buying tickets to the game tomorrow!! Cant Wait!!
are most folks going through UConn for tickets? Im sure I will too...wanting to sit with our fans and support the "travel well" theme. SO many good tickets for the cheap on stubhub
look at the guys running the buses as well, they have group sales seats that will be with UConn fans, and cheap too.Yea, I bought from the University. It's more money but I gotta sit with UConn fans. The experience is so much better then being "that guy" in the middle of Maryland fans.
