SIKE!!!!!!Yes - Bowl location is limiting participation. This comes from a parent that has a player on the team. Truth hurts.

I did. The fact that I'm willing to support the program with information being withheld doesn't mean that someone selling tickets doesn't owe it to those buying to let them know of possible issues.

That's great. I'm the one who said I'm not assuming we have mass defections unless the players are saying it in their social media or we're hearing it from a reporter or some other legitimate source. If DB didn't KNOW that players were boycotting the game, then of course he shouldn't have said they were.He didn’t know. And it sounds like there is quite a bit of bogus information going around.
You have nothing to complain about.
In a hypothetical world where Army has significant contributors among the freshman (plebe) or sophomore (yearling) classes, they could opt out.Jez, can I count this towards my CLE requirements?
A stark difference exists between the teams re: opt outs. Army does not accommodate opt outs (can't opt out for the NFL.), so we're going to see all first teamers. (Thus, the point spread has been widening...)
Hopefully, sales will increase with Bell’s status. 20K is still higher than all the bowl games that I have watched this yearMy contact at Fenway Park told me today about 20,000 tix have been sold--so far. Last year it was 28,000.
If you go on the web site, there aren't any good seats left.My contact at Fenway Park told me today about 20,000 tix have been sold--so far. Last year it was 28,000.
Some of you so called fans are over the top ridiculous. So you are no longer a fan going forward because a few of the current players opt-out. Hmm, doesn't make much sense. The more I read some of these posts, the more I truly believe that we feel like we are an entitled fan base.Let ME be clear. The players boycott this bowl and this longtime UCONN football fan is out. !
I sure as hell hope it has not degenerated into that.

Saw Farrar play HS in Virginia Beach. Strong arm and good speed. Not improbable that Farrar is better than Evers.
So businesslawyer, you think DB is committing fraud? If I buy a ticket to a Lightning - Hurricane game, and Andrei Vasileskiy is injured, you mean I could sue? There is no law against fraud? Knowingly or recklessly misstating a material fact or failing to disclose a fact necessary to not make disclosed information materially misleading? And the point isn't even whether it's legal. It's about trying to pull $200 bucks one time from people like me at the risk of losing the $1k or so it's cost me annually for 25 years. Doing one's job is not pulling pennies out of supporters at the risk of blowing dollars.
Did I mention Benedict in the comment you quoted? So businesslawyer, you think DB is committing fraud? If I buy a ticket to a Lightning - Hurricane game, and Andrei Vasileskiy is injured, you mean I could sue?
Is that you are saying? Or am I reading your reply wrong?
We are and should be entitled as season ticket holders and donors. This to expect the players we supported all season to finish the season on the field with the team that got them status. Then to sit out. Actually not an entitled fan base but rather one that feels a kick in the footballs and wallet. The more I read some of these posts, the more I truly believe that we feel like we are an entitled fan base.
