just grabbed 14 tonight in a big win over the sky - 13 defensive, 1 offensive - so she is #1 in defensive rebounds and should be able to grab 5 more rebounds on Thursday in NY to be #1 overall. Probably end the season in #3 on the offensive boards.

She just needs 3 more:) to pass Big Syl for overall.

If she pulls an Angel Reese and gets 7 OBoards, she will be #2 on that state.

Nika's overseas team, Besiktas, lost at home, to Basketball Landes, 84-70.
So they will have to go on the road next week, to France, and win by at least 15 points to move on in Euroleague or they will be playing in Euro Cup this season. No disgrace to play in Euro Cup,

I would guess the records were broken on a WNBA season that has had more regular season games then past WNBA seasons.
Similar to when Roger Maris broke Babe Ruth's HR record in a 162 games season vs a 150 game season that Ruth played.

This is true of virtually every "season" record in every sport. MLB went from 154 to 162 games. NFL went from 12 to 17 games. NBA went from 68 to 82 games. NHL went from 60 games in 1948 to the current 80 game schedule.

Oh thanks. I thought it was referring to college records.
 
Tina has 3-6=9 rebounds tonight in the first half so is #1 in rebounds, #1 in DBoards and #3 in OBoards with still a chance to move up to #2 this season, especially if they win since she'll get at least another game.

Career records are based on regular season only.

Absolutely correct. I was actually having fun busting the guy's chops because I'm a little tired of hearing about someone who shall go nameless on this forum.
