Aaliyah was leading scorer and rebounder for the Mystics. Playing at Mohegan Sun, in front of her former team, seems to have agreed with her.

Kudos to Aaliyah. In the post-game press conference Shatori Walker-Kimbrough said a lot of great things about Aaliyah, loves having her as a teammate.

Correction, Mr. Leonis (sic?). Isn't he the one who decided to move them into. smaller arena when he took over the team? He wasn't getting much love when he was thinking of moving the team to Virginia either.

If you have ever played on a team with someone like Ms. Notre Dame Volume Shooter, you know how much that sucks the life out of the team and any team chemistry that might otherwise exist.

That team is a complete mess.

The Mystics moved only the Fever and Sky games to the larger arena b/c of the demand to see CC and Reese (she's from the area). I don't think there's enough demand to move all their games there.
